Update on steroid guided injection

Hi just a wee update I have to get my guided steroid injection on the 15th of December!!! Its not coming quick enough ad this piriformis pain escalated starting to affect my right side too. 🤞🤞🤞🤞 it works for me

Hi dollydutchgirl as thank you appreciate that. Had the night from hell on Friday night up the whole night crying with pain si friday not coming fast enough as you can imagine. You have a lovely Christmas and nee year too I hope you are well take care

I have another appointment with the pain clinic on Tuesday - my first was 10 months ago. I have lower lumber facet joint arthropathy - which is incredibly painful and there are times when the pain is way beyond controllable. I can’t stand for very long, nor can I walk very far (I use a wheeled walker that has a seat, so I can sit down as often as I need). Pain killers prescribed mean I’m currently taking 70mg Amitriptyline at 6pm plus, Dihydrocodeine and two paracetamol up to four times a day - but they really do very, very little. Hopefully, this next appointment may bring some change, at least in the medication. But hey, I have a wonderful, extremely supportive, loving husband - and an amazingly supportive daughter, son-in-law as well as two superbly supportive grand children (one is 24 and her brother is 15) - so I know that I am so, so fortunate. We laugh a lot and always manage find something funny in all situations Even my GP has said ‘I heard your laughter so, knew you were here.’ 😂🤣😂. Take care…😊
