Telogen effluvium
So - after having hair falling out in greater amounts - I’ve finally seen a GP who is taking my concern seriously and I’ve bern diagnosed with the above. Looking up information on this I see it says it can be due to stress and or auto immune disorder. Anyone got any further info or advice please?

40+ son with schizophrenia. Can anyone relate?
Hi - my son took ecstasy in the 90's rave years in UK. It destroyed his neurones and he has had schizophrenia ever since. He was sectioned in 1996 for 3 months, was medicated with Haloperidol and Procyclidine but stopped the drugs after leaving hospital and has refused meds and all contact with social

Unscheduled break at W5
I’m so frustrated that an old
back
injury
flared up just as I was about to tackle W5R3...was all geared up for a 20 minute run! The
back
injury
causes mild sciatic-like pains down one leg. I’m hoping to get back to it next weekend but will start at W5R1 again I think.

Running with back pain
Question for you all: I have a low
back
strain - it's not related to an
injury
from exercise. My twin grandsons were hospitalized this past week and I stayed with them to help their parents and must have not been using very good posture.

Post Lung Surgery
In 2010 I had a bi-Lobectomy lung operation. Initially I had limited physiothrapy but apart from seeing the consultant every few months any form of rehabilitation was only available by application. I gave up and bought a indoor exercise bike, brilliant but lost motivation. Next walking the dog, still

Totally Gutted!
Anyone got any tips about how to get
back
into it after an
injury
like this? I assume it'll be
back
to week 1 when the leg is strong enough. Urgh! Thanks x

Raynauds tip
I have a great tip for raynauds sufferers. Wear the very thin vinyl gloves under your chosen cold weather gloves. They actually keep your hand so warm. Even if you are forced to take your thick outdoor gloves off the vinyl gloves retain the warmth until you can get your thick ones back on!! Hope this

Back in the saddle
Due to a combination of end of term concerts, nativity performances, work Christmas do, nagging
back
injury
from constantly moving school stage and hall seating and copious amounts of snow I hadn't run for 2 whole weeks. So this morning I was bit worried as to whether I could still do it!

👋🏻 a quick hello
After my 10km race in November I had to take a few weeks rest due to a shin
injury
. But started
back
up in Jan. I’ve set a 600km target for 2018 and a 50 mile (80km) target for Jan. On track so far as some of you may see on Strava. 🤭 yesterday was my proudest of this whole running journey.

I've just run 5k but feel disappointed.....
I've since been to a running shop and had a gait analysis done and bought great new shoes, but that
injury
set me
back
and I only started running again in January.

Have 6 month recheck on Dec 14th with Neuro...
There was a 'plus side' to my
back
injury
a few months ago (who would have thought lol).....urine hesitancy is doing better than it has in years. It is still there to get started sometimes but not the whole time that I'm trying to pee!! Somewhat feel normal in that respect :)

Am back!
So...after 4 weeks of not running, I started
back
with week 5 and I was apprehensive and scared of
injury
- blah blah. But it was so good to be out there again. I have also bought a foam roller (which I must admit I scoffed at) and it has been revolutionary.

Nice little 3k run, getting back on it after the IC
The dodgy back feels good now so just need to get the breathing and lungs
back
to where they were pre
injury
and I will be ready to start looking at Bridge to 10k. Good luck to anyone off for a run over the weekend, remember to keep us all informed about how you get on.
