Ground Flaxseed, Flaxsee Oil & Flaxseed Oil.
This is a follow-on from my Fred Kummerow post - in response to some questions. Flaxseed contains two elements that might affect PCa progression: lignans that might impede it & alpha-linolenic acid [ALA] that might accelerate it. A tablespoon of flaxseed oil contails a lot of ALA with little or none

Fred Kummerow & Flaxseed oil.
Fred Kummerov, biochemist, died on Wednesday at 102 [1]. At age 99, frustrated by the continued presence of trans fats in the food supply, he sued the FDA. This led to a ban, which comes into effect next year - 60 years after his research on trans fats began. But I was interested to see his paper on

Let us explore the health benefits of flax seed the super food
Flax seed has been consumed as food for around 6,000 years. The tiny seeds of flax are great source of nutrient dense food. They are rich sources of anti oxidants, fibre, good fat and greatest source of magnesium also contain many minerals and trace elements. These impart a lot of health benefits. [b

Pain killers
Hi everyone. I'm off to see my GP this afternoon as 13 weeks after my laparoscopy, my pain is worse than ever - worse than before I had it done!. The hospital have sent me a follow up for July but in the meantime they said to ask the GP for pain killers and I wondered what people find to work best?

Ursodiol and constipation
I have been on ursodiol for a little over 2 weeks and I'm suffering from constipation. Has anyone else had this? I'm wondering if it's the ursodiol or something else. I didn't notice it at first. It's only been the last few days.

Menstrual migraines
Hello everyone, I'm on 50 mg on topiramate a day and just started on 75mg pregabalin twice a day for severe anxiety. Question is my headache/migraine build up every day for about a week. The topiramate doesn't seem to help with them. I've been on it about 6 weeks. I'm reluctant to increase the dose

Vitamin K2
Hi, this is my first posting here. Diagnosed with osteoporosis 3 years ago and reluctantly taking Alendronic Acid. Does anyone know if I can enhance things by taking Vitamin K2 with the bisphosphonate. Thanks. Found lots of inspiring discussion since I joined.

Doctor suspects endo, would love advice.
Hi all, I'm new here and recently heard the word "it could be endometriosis" from a doctor. I've always had painful periods, always known that they weren't normal. At school I would have to be sent home as the cramps would go from my front right through my bottom up my back. At the moment my symptoms
