Fibromyalgia and blue parking badges
Hello everyone, I have fibro and arthritis in my feet. I get PIP but not the mobility side so I don’t automatically get a blue badge. Has anyone else here been successful in applying separately and getting the badge from their council? Thank you Debbie

PMR/Pred/Psoriatic Arthritis....?
Hello. I was diagnosed in Aug 2015 with PMR. Prescribed 15mg which did the job. I spent the next 5 years working my way off. I'm now Pred free for 12 weeks or more. All seems good. (Obviously the ravages of all of this are there in their own little ways). However... I had developed some nasty nail

Confused about Fibromyalgia
Hey peeps, (Sorry this is a long post, and I'm sorry if I go on a bit) So, 12 weeks ago I discovered a lump in the side of my neck. Had it for 2 weeks. Felt hard and didn't hurt. Saw GP, told to go back for bloods if it's still there in another 2 weeks. Went back, had bloods, ESR (inflammation marker

Confusion over effects
Hi, fellow PMR voyagers - I was on 6.5mg Pred for some time but recently tapered to 5.5mg. I am now experiencing painful arthritis-like symptoms in my toes and hands. Like many of us, it's difficult to determine whether these pains are from PMR, Prednisolone (devil's tic tacs), tapering, arthritis or

Has there been any research on the relationship of the onset of polymyalgia and COVID vaccines or is it too early?
My polymyalgia developed five weeks after an Astra Zeneca vaccination and a friend developed
Arteritis
with seven weeks of a vaccination. She intends to report this via the Yellow Card system. Has there been any suggestion that the vaccine could trigger the immune system?

Temporal Arteritis Update
Had a video call today from the Rheumatologist. The temporal biopsy was negative however, due to the delay of three weeks on 60mg Prednisolone he was not surprised. He was very approachable and thorough with covering past and recent symptoms. His opinion was to treat as TA due to symptoms and blood

How to get to couch?
I’m 69, female (despite the name at the top), never been sporty but need to improve my fitness. I’ve now completed week 1, but am struggling. I find it difficult to maintain a brisk walk and can barely manage a slow jog. I’m sure the snails are laughing as they whizz by lol. I have very mild osteoarthritis

Fatigue and very hot flushes
On 5th June I reduced to 7mg but since then I have found the basics of life a massive struggle and I’m normally a few miles a day person. Various limbs have become painful even an old break in my wrist is giving me jip. When these hot flushes come on I feel absolutely drained so I’m going to add an
