Hello Abdellah. This is a specialised medication so there’s probably no suitable alternatives. For your constipation I suggest you eat beetroot and or figs and or kiwis. Or ask pharmacy for their suggestions
I have found golden linseeds to be extremely effective. I am hypothyroid, which causes constipation, and also on various strong painkillers for arthritis. Depending on when I last ‘went’ I take from a teaspoonful up to a tablespoonful sprinkled each morning on my cereal.
I was prescribed hydroxy for mild SLE. I have no idea how it works with OA, which I have as well, but with Lupus it worked very well. It reduced my fatigue, my hair stopped falling out and it eased the awful night sweats. I've never heard of it being used for OA.
