I find this so weird. Today For the first time I took a Tylenol for Arthritis and no prednisone and the pain that was from sternocleidomastoid was gone as was any other pains and aches frm my body, now I am only at .25 mg of prednisone so it’s not a lot....but has anyone experienced anything like this....

PMR question
At such a low dose it is more than possible that the aches are just your body getting used to being without pred - some people have said it took months for that to calm down and paracetamol often does help with steroid withdrawal discomfort.
Yes, I had similar experiences. Tylenol arthritis helped me also when tapering off prednisone. My Rheumatologist also recommended taking curcumin during tapering , it helps to relieve side effects of prednisone, such as tendon tightening.
Can you elaborate a bit more pszak72 with what you mean by tendon tightening as an effect of prednisolone or is it specific to prednisone? It sounds more like PMR or are you talking about tapering? I am still up in the air not understanding when I am in flare with reducing or not. I just don't seem to get below 20mg since April and am getting rather fed up.
Are they sure it is PMR? Difficulty in tapering at that sort of level often is a sign it isn't ...
Thanks for picking it up PMRpro. I was wondering myself about psoriatic arthritis after something on here just the other day as in the last three weeks or so I have some kind of eczema appearing on my left foot and a couple of warts on my little toe. Also been noting that I have pain/inflammation in the night over last couple of nights though I would ahve thought the 2.00am pred would have kicked in. when I take it in the day I often leave it a couple of hours till 3-3ven 4.30 when 2.00pm is the time(I forget) and there isn't any difficulty.
