COVID after Evusheld
I just got a positive pcr COVID test. I received my Evusheld injections March 22nd. So far I’m not symptomatic. We have a free testing program in our city and I get tested once a week. Has anyone gotten COVID after Evusheld? I have no antibodies from the vaccines and one booster.

Always Good to get Good News
Hi all, I had my first blood tests for a few months, last one we cancelled due to lack of test tubes or something. Any way all is good. Everything normal apart from a couple of things. CRP 1.4, ESR 2.0, and HbA1c 38 ( down from last one). My Haematocrit is slightly low and my Mem Corpusc.Hb (MCHC

Peg injections - two in one day
Hi all, I’m on peginterferon Alfa-2a for ET and a few weeks ago my dose was increased to 180mg. The hospital pharmacy deliver my medication and I can only assume they’ve ran out of 180mg syringes as I’ve been sent about 8 boxes of 90mg pre filled syringes meaning I’m expected to do 2 injections after

Aquagenic pruritus/Polycythemia
Hello, I have recently started having severe itching (like prickling/burning) after showering. Initially I thought there was something in the water but after eliminating this possibility, I did some research and came across aquagenic pruritus. I am really scared since I read it is a specific symptom

Changing result for intrinsic factor antibody blood test
Why does Intrinsic factor test result change? Does anybody know what makes the abs come and go? I had negative then + result then negative again the day after B12 injection. I was expecting a + result after reading forum posts about high B12 causing false positive IFAB. I'm so confused, I have anti

Stool test
I have in the past had iron deficiency anemia from having an ulcer. That has now been treated but at my last blood tests, my ferratin level was lower than it should be. My doctor said it was unlikely to be my anaemia back as my iron count was within normal levels. It was my stored iron that was low

B12 deficiency, IFab negative, oral cyanocobalamine not working... what's the cause of deficiency?
Hi, I'm new here, just looking for any insight on my situation to try and figure out the cause of my b12 deficiency... For a little background: I'm 32, female. I first became aware of low b12 levels in mid 2020. I'd had 3 highly stressful years and was left feeling awful with anxiety, ear fullness

Serum transferrin too high
Hello there, I haven't posted for a while as I am fine. Since taking T3 all my various ailments have disappeared on the whole. Very fortunate as since my husband died during the first lockdown, it is just me with 3 children. This is about my daughter, 14, very tired, put on 2 1/2 stone in 2 years

How MTHFR mutation can affect cyanocobalamin injection?
Does MTHFR mutation affects enzymes related to cyanocobalamin processing after injection. What ethnicity have more MTHFR mutation? Is there any other mutation affects cyanocobalamin injection required enzymes for processing.

Medichecks Pernicious Anaemia Test
Hi, Just wondering whether anyone here has had the medichecks test done to see if they have Pernicous Anaemia? I have Hashimotos, and my B12 level at my last blood test was 343 (180-900) I'm not getting very far with my GP at the moment, so looking at private testing. Would be interested to hear others

How to know I'm not with MTHFR mutation person?
In case if being MTHFR mutation person is that possible still inject cyanocobalamin and symptoms get improved or we need inject cyanocobalamin? Obviously folic acid can't get processed in such a mutation

BLOOD TEST RESULTS FROM 22/02/2022 taken at 7.45AM
Hi all, once again could you knowledgeable people please pass comment on my most recent results. Unfortunately due to dr requesting follow up test within two months the lab has rejected some of the tests, annoyingly, I wanted to know if my vitamin intake and iron tablets may have improved my ferritin
