Mrs Aenone Harper Machin is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and an Honourary Senior Lecturer working in one of the busiest specialist plastic surgery departments in Europe. Specialising specifically in melanoma of the head and neck area she performs some of the most complex surgery worldwide.

Based at Whiston Hospital she is also the Chair of the regional Skin Cancer Specialist MDT for the Cheshire & Merseyside region and the specialty lead for plastic surgery at the University of Liverpool. She has lectured throughout the world and has been adopted as a key advisor to the facial reconstruction society due to her expert knowledge in this field.

Skcin are delighted to welcome Mrs Aenone Harper Machin from @thegrange.clinic to our growing team of Ambassadors with a passion to help Skcin raise the profile of skin cancer awareness by promoting prevention and early detection through educational intervention.

Mrs Aenone Harper Machin says:“I am a huge advocate of the work that Skcin does. There is no doubt that education is paramount in combatting a cancer that is almost entirely preventable and if detected and diagnosed early, almost always treatable. I continually witness first-hand the devastation this disease causes and I am passionate about helping Skcin in any way I can to prevent such suffering, improve prognosis for patients and ultimately save lives.”
