This is quite different although it's tme same field and I use the same skills. I got stressed because my boss went through a stressful period herself and was

Birth Control and Behcets
I just wanted to share this with the ladies of the group. As I am newly diagnosed I have been devoting a lot of my time to reading and researching everything I can get my hands on. I've swapped Amitriptyline for herbal supplements!
Wondering if anyone has, like me ditched the amitriptyline for herbal supplements, food supplements and a better diet? I have been enjoying several posts on this site and have followed links and trails leading to complementary therapies and dietary supplements. These have given me plenty of ‘food for thought.’ However, at a recent meeting of a support group here in Plymouth UK, a neurologist and research scientist

Do any of you take vitamins and/or herbal supplements?
Have they decreased your pain & stiffness at all? What about interactions with prednisone? Thanks for your input.

Has anyone tried taking 5 HTP herbal supplements to help with their Fibro symptoms?! If so, could we have your comments please -
(Please remember when taking any supplements that it's best to get advice from your Doctor or Consultant before starting to take them as they might have adverse effects or not be wise to take them with your current medications.)

I have cyclizine injections at home to enable me to tolerate the high levels of anti fungal medication I need to cope with the constant oral thrush I have. Normally I have it IM but as anyone who has had it knows it stings like hell and eventually you run out of places you can reach yourself. When I've

Intraconazole
Sorry to do this I have quite a few questions which I am curious about... Just wondering if anyone else is on intraconazole or other antifungals for asthma and ABPA? Are you allergic to more than one mould/fungi? Are you being precribed intraconazole or other antifungal for the short term or long

Hi, I have spent the majority of this year in hospital with my asthma and chest infections/pneumonia, the last time i was admitted they managed to stabilise my asthma over a week with a combination of magnesium, aminophylinne and a stay on HDU for CPAP. Once i was stable enough to be on the normal ward

I have developed revolting ringworm on my feet which seems to be spreading in spite of the anti fungal cream I got from the chemist
Is it in anyway connected to the scleroderma? I probably will go to the doctor this week, but just wondered if it's the compromised immune system/skin problems that are causing it.
