Treatment Resistant depression
I have been on various
antidepressants
for 40 years now. When one stops working they switch it to another. They used to work for 5-10 years but in the last few years nothing seems to be working well.

Hallucination and delusion
I was given some
antidepressants
but I haven't fully recovered yet I'm told the meds I have taken is enough. It's now 5 months since I gave birth. What do I do and how long will this thing take? I'm worried.

RLS and antidepressants
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone in the UK has been prescribed an antidepressant that doesn’t make their restless legs worse? I’ve been on citalopram, fluoxetine and duloxetine, they have all made my RLS worse.

Understanding
It's a little complicated because I take Warfarin and a lot of
antidepressants
have contraindications but I'm confident he'll find me something. At the moment I just want to disappear, melt into the background until I no longer exist. It's not a good place to be.

severe bloating & antidepressant help?
Hi, I’ve been having really bad bouts of severe bloating & trapped wind enough that I have to loosen /remove clothes. I’ve also been sick a few times because of it. It’s as though I go from being not pregnant to 10 months + in a matter of minutes ! It’s really painful in upper stomach both sides especially

Depression and ADHD -- Qelbree?
Hi! Our 14 yo daughter suffers from inattentive ADHD and pretty bad depression. Our new psychiatrist just added Qelbree to her Vyvanse. Does anyone have experience with Qelbree? From what I hear it is relatively new and has strong antidepressant qualities. I'm on the fence about trying this combo simply

Experience of taking Lofepromine.
I am a parent of a teenager diagnosed with treatment resistant depression. ECT has recently made minor improvements but now Lofepromine is being suggested. I am concerned about the side effects, the possibility of an increase in suicidal thoughts and many other worries as we have had some nasty past

private consult
I went to see the private endocrinologist consultant. He was very much guided by the GP letter. Low cortisol saliva test - I’m going back on Monday morning for private blood tests x3 to rule out a rare pituitary condition. He feels certain i do not have it. Multi nodular goitre - it is visibly larger

I hate my brain...
My husband signed a lease on his own apartment today..It's my fault Well at least 90% because that man won't talk "feelings or emotion" unless ur pulling teeth😆 So my new sad people doctor told me I should get all these feelings off my chest and with the stupid ass anxiety from being angry for so

Found my tribe...
I tried many different medication, on and off of
Antidepressants
, tried Medikinet, which helped at first, but then made me horribly nervous and didn't do much good. I am now trying Elvanse and my first day went, oh well... mixed.

Test results following change of dose
Hello all, I’ve just updated my profile to hopefully provide some background on all this. Following on from my recent post with test results from 28th February (TSH 0.08, FT4 21 (12-22, 90% of range) and FT3 4.6 (3.1-6.8, 40% of range), I decreased my Levo dose slightly and have recently had a new test

Convinced the new medication won’t work
After PPP last summer, and crushing depressive episodes for the past 7 or 8 months. My psychiatrist has switched my antidepressant from sertraline to venlafaxine. I’m just convinced it won’t work. I’ve only been taking it for 12 days which I know is early days logically, but I keep thinking it won’t

T3 for depression
Hi can anyone tell me if a consultant psychiatrist can prescribe T3 on the NHS in UK in the case of treatment resistant depression which has not responded to numerous antidepressant trials. I have an underlying thyroid issue where my T4 doesn't convert well to the active T3. I also have physical symptoms

Coping tips needed please
If anyone is on
antidepressants
have they helped? I’m finding it so hard to stop overthinking everything or to see any light at the end of the tunnel.

NICE and NHS Guidelines - Links to useful bits!
The sad part about it is, statins are generally already being prescribed to the patient before a hypothyroidism diagnosis, somewhat like the
antidepressants
