Hello! Anxious and irritable
I have tried at least 7 different
antidepressants
and the one i am on now I am limited to a low dose because of physical side effects. I have turned to eating as a solace, though I have been making myself work out to try to burn off irritability and nervous energy.

i have depression, suicidal ideation and I don't know what to do.
it took me two weeks to taper from lexapro to Cymbalta. I've now been on Cymbalta since 10.14.22 (2 weeks) at 60. I'm also on lithium. I have had very weird side effects. It was very hard for me to sleep. Sometimes 3 or 4 hours, sometimes up all night. We kept switching Cymbalta from day to night and

Frustrating Lupus
At the appointment day, dr just checked quickly my hands, heard my heart and prescribe me with
antidepressants
… yes…
antidepressants
! I am still wondering why? Perhaps my anxiety?

Nortriptyline and Thyroid Meds
Hi I was recently diagnosed as having chronic vestibular migraine by the ENT and Neurologist as a consequence I'm now taking a small dose of Nortriptyline as a migraine preventative. It's a tricyclic antidepressant but at low doses has shown success with other conditions like migraine and chronic

Puzzling blood tests
As of this month, I’ve had 13 years of unexplained issues with balance and falls; POTS; weakness; cognition and memory; fatigue; joint pain; skin problems; clumsiness and gait; tinnitus; and male fertility. I’ve had MRI’s, heart checks, endocrine workups, dietary changes, etc that don’t reveal significant

Exhausted and overwhelmed...
My life has been in a downward spiral for the past 10 months (I blame the
antidepressants
they put me on when I was misdiagnosed), and I was hoping for tips for getting back on track. I work full time and am currently having issues at work.

misdiagnosis and the devastating consequences of prescribed anti depressants
I’ve successfully managed to get many of them to quit
antidepressants
and find their own deeper emotional healing. A huge journey that I don’t regret in the least but that I must definitely wouldn’t want to go through again. ☺️

can’t cope
Suicidal ideation all day every day for past 16 years, 8 different
antidepressants
don’t work, 4 different hospitalizations. I don’t know what to do anymore. The thought of having to suffer for another 60 years probably makes me sick and beyond hopeless. What do I do? I’ve tried everything.

Don't blame yourself! Keep fighting the stigma.
Nearly half of us already know that we don't respond to
antidepressants
that target serotonin. Your depression is not a character flaw! Your depression is not a moral failing. Your depression is very real and for many of us has failed all available treatments.

6 years of Tinnitus and now it's changed.
I've had Tinnitus for 6 years,it started as a side effect of taking the antidepressant Sertraline, I had got used to it and sometimes even forgot I had it, but 9 weeks ago I suddenly got a really loud ringing in my left ear and also pain,I've seen my Doctor 4 times and been told I had neuralgia, then

Gene testing for antidepressants
Today the doctor and I discussed gene testing for
antidepressants
waiting for my results. Hopeful that may give some insight on meds that may work well for me.
