Antidepressants?

So it’s been almost four months after my traumatic event, and since I haven’t succeed to stabilise during this time, my psychologist suggested it might be time to try antidepressants.

I've been taking sertaline for a couple of months now but not been helping, so the doctor has put me on new medication called mirtazapine and I take this one at night, do I still take sertaline in the morning and mirtazapine at night or just stick to 1???

But, I keep reading that antidepressants can help with pain. I'm trying many things for pain that now aren't working well enough but pain isn't my only problem.

The GP now wants me to try an SNRI but I'm too scared because of the side effects and because of how I felt on the other antidepressants I really don't know what to do

I started antidepressants

So I’ve started 50mg of Zoloft and it’s really wild how much of a difference I feel. I feel like I finally have access to my brain again and like I have control of myself again. I was absolutely terrified at first but I’m really proud of myself for pushing through the fear and choosing to advocate for

Antidepressants and thyroid problems

Has anyone else tried antidepressants and found problems with weight gain with thyroid problems? It seems pretty standard that antidepressants are linked to weight gain, and I think that is part of what is causing my depression, along with a load of other stressors. Any advice/info? Many thanks

My father, currently taking Firmagon, is so depressed that he wants to start antidepressants. We were thinking perhaps Sertraline? Any insights or thoughts?

Bad reaction to antidepressants

Diagnosed recently ,worst thing is anxiety. Was prescribed Sertraline but after only two tablets had terrible bladder and rectum pain so had to stop.I can't take Mirtazipine as they made me lose control of right side of body. Would really like a CBD with small amount of THC. I am in the Uk and know

Antidepressants

I have checked out a lot of the other antidepressants and they all seem to have to potential for heart rhythm problems and I wondered if anyone on this forum has experience with any other antidepressants or have taken them and have/have not had any problems as far as the AF is concerned.

Antidepressants and ivf

Has anyone taken antidepressants or betablockers while having ivf? I've been having ivf for the last four years without success and have a lot going on in my personal life too as my mum has Altzeimers disease.

Good evening

I was treated with antipsychotics and antidepressants for six months. And then, three months ago, I felt my feet. It was like an electric shock to my legs. And now-the current, the needles, the heat waves, the dull pain in my legs. The current makes my legs shake.
