belly button re infected 6 weeks after op
I had a week long course of
antibiotics
which cleared up the laparoscopic wound infection to my belly button. Unfortunately, I’ve had some pain in it the last few days and when I woke up this morning to check it there’s an area with sloughy yellow exudate to it. Anyone else has issues with healing?

Pleural drain infection
I have taken several rounds of
antibiotics
, when I take the
antibiotics
I usually stop my targeting drug. The infection improves but doesn't fully clear and as soon as I stop the
antibiotics
and commence the targeting drug the infection comes back.

When the drugs don’t work
This has been a particularly bad year for coughs/chest infections and after many courses and
antibiotics
and steroids, and much pleading, he was finally referred back to Respiratory Consultant.

Update and seasons greetings.
The groin abscess seems to have responded to
antibiotics
. It turns out that the iss6with my left eye is that the lens is stuck to the iris. The specialist I saw explained that it will develop into a cataract which will be removed as and when necessary.

Eloquis/Apixaban etc - To Take or Not - That is The Question!
I have never had to take 'pill in the pocket' I did have a blockage in my leg which was disappaited by patches after a severe chect infection coupled with rejection of Doxycycline
antibiotics
which I was given three times by the hospital and each time sent the heart flying.

To cochlear implant or not to cochlear implant?
I continue to be on IV
antibiotics
through a central line, and because I have abscesses in my brain from the infection, they do not want to put me on blood thinners yet and risk a brain bleed. We have an MRI next week to see if the infection and abscesses are cleared.

Worried!
I started experiencing palpitations last year and didn’t worry too much. They seemed to start after I had the Covid jab followed by Covid itself. I went to my GP several weeks ago about the palpitations. As I was taking a low dose antidepressant ( Citalopram) with a PPI, my GP arranged an ECG. In the

Been on steroids for suspected GCA not quite three weeks now - went down from 50 mg to 40mg after first week. Not generally feeling too bad though not as bright as I was in the first few days of steroid honeymoon. Am having some issues with loose and sudden stools which initially I thought were an antibiotic

I was put on
antibiotics
yesterday because I have a chest infection but forgot to ask if I should stop taking Lefludamide whilst on
antibiotics
. I just wondered if any of you have been told what to do in that situation.

Discoid Lupus itchy scalp more bald patches what to do to ease it?
Given my complicated medical history and reaction to a lot of meds (including
antibiotics
) I'd be grateful if someone could suggest what I can use to stop the itching? I'm guessing the bald spots are not going to disappear... thanks for any advice .

Lost faith in the medical profession. Bacterial meningitis.
They called a different consultant who did an assessment and immediately put me on iv
antibiotics
and did more blood tests along with asking for further tests from the CSF from the lumbar puncture.
