finally starting to feel a little better. I did not return to work so currently have a 2 week sick note. Ive been off since 23.12.22 but only came off nebs on Sunday. Im on more antibiotics as still have a lot to cough up but i am feeling better. I still do feel i have a while to go as im so tired& get out of breath easy, i feel my base line is still out for how i would be normally. I would like to thank you all for your support/advice over this difficult flare up (i think its been the worst I've ever had). Sending lots of love xxx

Glad you are starting to feel better Julie and that you got a sick note for work. I'm glad that you felt that you got support from members here too; it's what the forum exists for and something that most of us have needed at times. Make sure you are fully recovered before going back to work if you can. Best wishes. Carole x
I'm pleased you are beginning to feel better. Now you must take advantage of being off work and carefully build up your strength. Take care.
It's gd to hear yr starting to feel better already.u will know whn yr ready4work
Hi,you have to take time to heal and you will know when you feel better enough to go back to usual duties. Each infection scars your lungs and some take longer to recover from than others .take it easy
Hello Julie. So pleased to hear from you and you're progressing slowly but improvement will continue every day. Give your mind and body time to adjust, no rushing back to work until you're 100%, it ain't worth it. Stay cool and calm 😌 , your body will let you know when it's right. Will make you smile 😃 now. Tried to send you a message last week but I sent it to myself!!!
Good luck and hoping for a uncomplicated recovery. Dawn.xx
Good to hear that you're starting to feel better and that you've got a sick note for a decent length of time. Hope every day helps you feel a bit better, until you're really well again.
hello Julie
Great to hear about you keep working your way through yes nebulizer only help you to loosen mucus but best way would be exercise or walk even steam up or.huffs take 4 small huffs them 1 big huffs straight up physiotherapy would show you if you think you need nebulizer but less then take it even once a day then take it please and cut day
once a day is will help thin the mucus I have serve copd broncechtisis emphysema respiratory type 2 asthma odimia and pseudomnas I'm on oxygen nebulizer and bipeb machine everyday but as time when I reduce the medication then stop some of them there have been time where I stopped everything for over years but where we are very vonruble it's hard to keep away from chest infection and when we get it we have to have perdiesoline and thats when the weight game starts it takes time to reduce the weight and mucus as do take what ever it takes to loose the weight and infection and then do some cardio to loose weight and body will get normal
It is difficult when we manage a long term health condition and then something comes along to put it out of kilter! Our bodies don't always bounce back so quickly.
Take time to get well and back to your normal baseline. You can then enjoy life again.
