But she's been on Co-careldopa and that didn't seem to help, she's now on Pregabilin and some

for a possible chest infection. My main concern is the pain she is in, she doesn't sleep at night and it's getting worrying now as we all need to recharge our batteries.

antibiotics while on chemo?
Hello, ladies. I am on cisplatin and Gemcitabine (Gemzar) and have developed an infection near an ancient root canal that I believe has finally failed. Has anyone safely taken a basic antibiotic such as amoxicillin while on this chemo combo? I have emailed my oncologist, but it’s just 6:00 am here,

B12 & Folate Deficiency and tolerability of antibiotics (why I react badly to them)
I wanted to just share this in case anyone else has similar issues with reacting badly to some
antibiotics
(particularly Trimethoprim or Bactrim) after developing a B12 deficiency.

Worried about liver

CT Scan For Cirrhosis?
Luckily it was not complicated and some
antibiotics
got me pretty much at 100% again! My question is this; during my hospital visit, they took bloods and a cat scan. Bloods were normal ast and asl normal etc. Also cat scan just showed the obvious diverticulitis and “diffuse fatty liver”.

First FDA-approved faecal microbiota pill for preventing recurrent C Difficile infection
The bacterium, which usually lives harmlessly among the other gut flora, may take advantage of gut dysbiosis following a course of
antibiotics
, multiply to infection levels and cause diarrhoea. The infection can be passed to others through the faeces.

However I went home with

feeling hopeful. 2 days after finishing them I returned to my GP who referred me back to the Emergency department.

Hurts breathing in on left side/lung...
No
antibiotics
etc. I had done some painting and my lungs might not have like the fumes. They do react to most things. Sorry for the long post, just wanted a rounder picture. Any help/ thoughts would be good.

I’ve asked on my Psoriasis group for any advice that others may have to help clear my skin.

Circumcision tightness around scar 4 weeks post opp
However
antibiotics
sorted that out and pain went and have had no pain since. I believe I have a looser circumcision as my skin covered a quarter of the glands until a week ago and now the skin sits behind the head and I can see the scar line if I pull back slightly.

Adrenal Insuffiency?
I'm hoping someone in the know on adrenals could offer some advice. A couple of weeks ago I was very unwell with chest pains, shortness of breath especially on laying down, pressure on my breastbone, feeling rather feverish. I was advised by GP to attend A&E who weren't sure what it was and suggested

T4 going too high?
I’ve just finished 6 months of
antibiotics
and I’m finally free of infection, however, my thyroid is seriously playing up. I’m suddenly struggling to take my levothyroxine (75 micrograms) - it’s making me feel over medicated.

ICU cognitive damage permanent?
Almost all of that time I have been on IV
antibiotics
(administered through a PICC line by the wonderful OPAT service) 18 months on from my brush with death, I still have cognitive impairment (can't work now due to poor concentration, limited attention) lung scarring (bronchiectasis), peripheral neuropathy

zero neutraphils
Her neutraphils are very low and not responding to
antibiotics
. So likely not an infection and perhaps caused by ibrutinib. She has been on ibrutinib for 3 years. The blood shows they have not changed. She has been advised to contact her team urgently to find out what is going on.

chest infection and mtx
I had to have a private gp to my hotel room who shot me in my bum and prescribed
antibiotics
and an inhaler, and no sunshine. I did however sit in the shade and felt the warmth on my body which is why I went!
