Chronic Endometritis

Hey lovely ladies! My question today related to endometritis/chronic uterine inflammation. I have done 4 hysteroscopies so far (two in 2021, one in 2022, one in 2023), each time the inflamed endometrium came out, with a "strawberry" appearance. After the tests, I came out positive for Ureaplasma (at 2 different moments), I did a total of 4 antibiotic cycles, currently the tests do not show any infection, but the inflammation is still there... It is probably also from endometriosis (3rd degree, I have a 7 cm endometrioma on the left ovary). From 4 stimulations and 5 embryo transfers, no sign of implantation. Certainly also because of the embryos, me being 38 years old and having AMH 1, but my suspicion is that the inflammation is doing no good... Please, those of you who have been in my situation - chronic uterine inflammation - how did you manage to clear it? Have you introduced any changes in your lifestyle/diet that have helped you? Maybe supplements, alternative therapies, exercise, ozone insufflations... anything, I am losing my mind....Thank you!

Have you discussed your concerns with your fertility clinic ? Might be an idea to do so Meantime try pelvic message to help relieve pain- some dietary changes -less red meat more fruit and veg + wholemeal bread/pasta brown rice Light exercise and plenty of rest and try to reduce stress levels -yoga deep breathing exercises Ask clinic if they can suggest any supplements

Thank you very much for your answer. I know it is a hard road and there is just so little that we can do... I have talked to a nutritionist and endo coach and she gave me ideas on what to do/eat, but I was interested in what really works... It is frustrating... Yes, I will ask my clinic as well, although they are more focused on antibiotics/meds, less on other aspects such as the impact of food, supplements and lifestyle.

Hi, I’ve also recently been diagnosed with this after a hysteroscopy, no idea if I’ve managed to clear it as of yet with antibiotics. Thank you for asking the question though I had the same thoughts as you.

I was already eating less inflammatory foods and hoping acupuncture helps too so not sure what else I can do either, I’ll just have to wait and see. All super frustrating on top of everything else. I hope you manage to find something that helps. Sorry I haven’t been much help but you are not alone xx

Hey! Thank you so much for your answer, it is important to know that we are not alone in this :) Hopefully the meds cleared your endometritis. What bacteria did they find? My endo coach gave me a lot of info and a long to-do list, it seems like a full time job already... and a lot of money going into it also... this is why I was interested in finding out what worked in individual cases. Please let me know if your infection cleared and if the endometritis is gone :)
