I had my big toenail removed due to it being ingrown . This was Friday today is Tuesday and the pain is getting unbearable. I went to dr who said infected and started me on antibiotics. Tonight the pain is so much worse and my toe gone shiny and red any advice ?

Is the redness spreading? If so you might need iv antibiotics which would necessitate a hospital visit. Certainly you need to speak to your gp that it’s getting worse.
I would definitely go to ER having it checked. Taking antibiotics for 4 days should have improved your situation.
You may need a different antibiotic through the infusion.
Please have it checked.

I had a partial toe nail removal. Dr. Burned it off. It kept growing into an ngrown toenail. I had to soak in plain Epsom salts twice a day for 2 weeks. Hope you feel better. 😀
I had to come off methotrexate before my surgery and stay off it until it healed. I was also advised by the podiatry nurse that I needed to use boiled water and not tap water. I also added tea tree oil to the boiled water.
