PMR or GCA Flare. Can GCA affect head/hearing?
He wanted me to wait to see if the
antibiotics
made a difference, but Day 5 out of 6 and they have not helped this inflammation. Spending days on ice packs and heating pad. Sleeping a lot. Can this type of bi-lateral hip, low back, pelvic girdle pain be a symptom of a PMR or GCA flare?

Cough improvement - bronchiectasis
It seems to be a bit of a puzzle - did I have an underlying infection for 3 years - which the IV
antibiotics
hit on the head? My respiratory professional did not know the answer. Anyone come accross this before?

new asthmatic needs help please
The emergency plan would I assume be my own prednisilone and or
antibiotics
supply? I ask because in my pre telephone interview I was also asked to download RB ( right breathe) app as there are so many inhalers to choose from.

Recovery from AV Fistula Surgery
Also,
antibiotics
were administered, and the result was a cocktail of explosive proportions. Pun intended. My stomach hurt and I was nauseous. Without being too graphic, I was spending a lot of time on the pot. This nausea scared me. I am always worried my kidneys are going to crash.

I have had three hospitalisations with sepsis and infection which has no source indicated so I get all the
antibiotics
IV until recovery. This time Sulfasalazine was withdrawn immediately on admission and is not to be taken again until my Consultant advises.

Latest update on son
Dr did another catheter change via camera vision and prescribed further dose of
antibiotics
. They will also do the next catheter change and then when happy injury area all healed son will have a supra - pubic catheter inserted . This type apparently will eliminate any future problems.

I am on my third lot of
antibiotics
and have been violently throwing up and have been told that some of my stomach lining has come. You know my problem with eating due to pain and I have just read about gastritis. Does anybody else have this and does it go with thyroid issues

Sorry this is long So I've had a rough summer. Initially really tired in evenings, rang the GP...was told at 46 I'm probably menopausal and what do I expect. A week later my leg swole. I went in said I thought cellulitis, different GP thought more likely clot so scans and anti clot stuff and a basic

Antibiotics after EMMA test and before an IVF cycle
I am assuming taking probiotics after a course of
antibiotics
should not affect IVF, however I am worried that
antibiotics
might have a detrimental effect on fertility. Many thanks.

Holidays, Alcohol, Food, Bad Weather, Antibiotics and Extraction! What Else Could Get in the Way of Running?
Having spent sometime writing this post over the last 3 weeks, I now precis it.My running plan for our 2 weeks in Turkey was to try and run alternate days for at least 20mins, the area is surrounded by mountains so distances were limited. I also knew food and alcohol would be involved. After leaving

Flare or Anxiety attack
Got down to 8mg but suffered two infections and ended up in hospital for IV
antibiotics
. Home after four days on oral
antibiotics
. Tocilizumab injection stopped in meantime. Four injections missed. Now feeling as though the GCA is flaring, no serious pain just a strange sensation in my temples.

new to bronchiectasis follow up
I will be starting a 3 month trial of
antibiotics
, and I am getting a butterfly thing to help me clear my lungs. I’m on the waiting list for pulmonary rehab. No change to my inhalers, relvar, spiriva, montelukast tablets, salbutamol inhaler and nebules.

Knee post op
Eventually the out of hours doctor prescribed some
antibiotics
and, as there were no nearby pharmacies open on Easter Sunday, he set off to collect them on Monday. When he got there the pharmacy didn’t have any and had no advice to offer. He rang around and no one had that dosage.

Well, the
antibiotics
gradually took the infection down, and although my face still looked an absolute mess I was beginning to feel a bit brighter.

Unusual reaction to medication
I immediately removed the patch and he prescribed her
antibiotics
. Thankfully she has now improved considerably. She is tired and weak but no longer confused or behaving strangely.
