Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy for CKD patients
After my experience in December in which I was prescribed
antibiotics
and I had a bad stomach and intestines reaction (I thought my kidneys were hurt because my sides hurt, particularly my left side), I am really concerned.

How I recover from tinnitus spikes

Frustrated at endo's obsession with TSH when other results point in the opposite direction
During this time, my recurrent UTIs went sky high, both in pain and frequency, and I found myself on almost constant

Lump on breast..
Antibiotics
seem to be doing nothing (day 5/7). The nurse that phoned me back said they can behave like a giant zit.

Pressure on bladder - non typical uti symptoms
She was on 2 lots of
antibiotics
, which gave her terrible side effects. So is terrified to take them again. Especially as we have a family funeral to attend this Friday. She wants this sorted by then. Personally I don't think it's a uti.

Antibiotics and embryo transfer
So today he prescribed me
antibiotics
- Amoxicillin to be precise. He said it is fine to take during pregnancy but I can't help wondering that this early on, could it affect implantation? I've already taken one dose of
antibiotics
this afternoon. Just don't want anything to risk it! 😕

Not exactly PMR but advice please about post menopausal dryness.
Since I was diagnosed with PMR in 2017 I have had frequent episodes of cystitis requiring antibiotic treatment. These seemed to be made worse by the Calcium and vitamin supplement I was prescribed so I stopped taking it. But I still suffer episodes of UTI/ cystitis about once a year and now my GP has

So they put me on IV
antibiotics
AND IV antivirals. I think four or five. Then after a week in the hospital they sent me to a SNF, for ANOTHER month on these IV MEDS. This has ruined my life. I lost the nerves from the waist down. I cannot feel my feet and am a constant fall risk.

Jaw locking while trying to feed. Suggestions?
So I'm not too sure if this is related but i dont think she is in pain UTI as she is on the end of her
antibiotics
. She was also bed ridden for the past 5 days in the hospital, so her legs are a bit stiff. I don't think these are related but thought I would mention it.

Persistent bowel infection
However, I did manage to convince my GP to give me a course of Co-amoxiclav
antibiotics
which is the first line treatment for diverticulitis, should there be an underlying infection. This basically cured my symptoms, and has done so for about 9 months now.

raised platelets post op
I was readmitted with a post op infection and treated with IV
antibiotics
, at the time it was noted I had a high platelet count. At my post op review (at 3.5weeks post op), I had repeat bloods and my platelets are still high and my consultant is now referring me to a haematologist.

Raised CRP to 5.3 and ESR to 25
I currently have a second UTI, first one August and am taking
antibiotics
. Could the UTI be elevating my CRP and ESR? I don't want to increase my pred unless absolutely essential. It has taken me 18 months to get from 9mg to 4mg a day. I don't seem to have any PMR pain.

VERTEBROPLASTY OP WENT FINE - SO FAR, SO GOOD
I did not have the luxury of asking anesthesiologist about Pred dose as there wasn't one present. I was awake for the entire procedure and op nurse administered an opioid and a medication when I requested it. Very relaxed but not "high". Also an antibiotic was included and I now have the same one at
