Why do they not prescribe Grastofil (filgrastim) during chemotherapy
I was given intravenous full spectrum
antibiotics
every 4 hours for the 5days. After this I was prescribed Grastofil before the next 4 infusions. My question is why don't they just prescribe Grastofil at every infusion to be safe. Does this drug lesson the performance of the chemotherapy.

Prednisolone
Hi Pnut, I was recently recovering from Covid which left me with a bad cough, and rather than
antibiotics
my GP prescribed Prednisolone and 5 day course of 6x5mg tablets once a day helped me almost immediately. I have had a similar dose in the past and it works great for me.

A tale of two halves…..
I was in for 3 days having had iv
Antibiotics
and came home. Then yesterday I had to call the GPabout a couple of things…..to be told I could only talk about one thing! Even though my second query was connected.

thyroxine drug interactions
Do various
antibiotics
interfere with thyroxine? I’m so brainfogged I can’t work out what google is saying. Clarithomycin for tonsillitis last week - feel v v thyroidy this week. Can’t remember the ones I had for chest infection but that was 2 months ago.

MDD with Anxiety Disorder and PTSD
Pressure stopped that as well, and I went home with a well wrapped wrist and
antibiotics
. Having to tell my kids in person (adult questions/adult answers) brought me back to reality very quickly. I have promised both I will tell them truthfully how I am doing from now on.

I'm on spironolactone and dapagliflozin (which has caused thrush) and this week saw the GP as thought I had kidney problems (maybe as a side-effect) - turns out after urine and blood test I do have an infection and am on
antibiotics

It's like Watching Someone Dissappear..
He's currently being given
antibiotics
and fluid and had bloods taken also an xray. Doctors think the gaunt look it dehydration and he doesn't appear to have lost blood so 🤞 he will recover.

problems possibly from my IUD
it’s starting to get me down as there always seems to be something wrong and all the Drs do is fob me off a course of
antibiotics
here one pessary there and it never clears up! This has been going on at least two years now should I just have it taken out!? Has anyone else had these problems.

After my experience in December in which I was prescribed
antibiotics
and I had a bad stomach and intestines reaction (I thought my kidneys were hurt because my sides hurt, particularly my left side), I am really concerned.

Diagnosis
I am currently "recovering" from a chest infection, I am on the fifth week and still coughing even after
antibiotics
. I have had bouts of extreme fatigue that has caused me to take a lot of time off work. My question is could I have SLE.

How long did frequent urination take to stop once you were injecting every other day?
So as some have experienced and will know frequent urination is quite a common issue for this lack B12 (please no one reply saying it’s an infection it’s not I’ve had very expensive tests and hundreds of
antibiotics
) in February I had 6 loading doses and I swear by 5-6 one all my urination issues cleared

Tooth Infection interfering with effect of numbing agent.
My first post. Have read many accounts. Very impressed by so many that are struggling and the kindness and suggestions of others. I have been newly diagnosed afib and moderate heart failure. (3months ago) Dr put me on Eliquis and Metoprolol. Dealing with side effects and learning all I can to help myself

Antibiotics and embryo transfer
So today he prescribed me
antibiotics
- Amoxicillin to be precise. He said it is fine to take during pregnancy but I can't help wondering that this early on, could it affect implantation? I've already taken one dose of
antibiotics
this afternoon. Just don't want anything to risk it! 😕

Antibiotics
seem to be doing nothing (day 5/7). The nurse that phoned me back said they can behave like a giant zit.
