IV at home
My husband has been told he needs intravenous
antibiotics
to prevent chest infections. Apparently he has in the past had a bacteria infection that does not respond to oral
antibiotics
. Having attended the lung defence unit for a review, we now have to go to their clinic for training on home iv.

Antibiotics and Increasing B12
I just got over a long bout with covid and am now on
antibiotics
(ceftin) for an ear infection (caused by covid). I've noticed since I began ceftin (8 days ago) that I'm experiencing fingers and toes tingling. Do you know if
antibiotics
can cause b12 depletion?

update on SIBO and antibiotics
firstly thank you so much for all your comments because you gave me the confidence to start the rifamixin course. I am now on day 5 of 3 x 550gm tabs daily for 10 days. Yesterday was my first fairly ok day in ages so I’m beginning to hope I may get some relief, which will be wonderful. My gastro report

Impossible task of timing thyroid meds with antibiotics, supplements and meals. Advice please!
My other problem now is necessary
antibiotics
. It seems I should take supplements two hours after
antibiotics
and at least six hours before. Given that I also need to take the
antibiotics
at the beginning of a meal, I can’t see how this is going to work.

Chronic migraine and chronic sore throat
Antibiotics
work for the throat when it gets too bad, so not just in my head. Most of the time my migraines get better while I am on
antibiotics
, hence my questioning. ENT specialist said that because of the impact my sore tonsils have on my life I could consider having them removed.

My story..
During one of those emergency room visits, they gave me
antibiotics
that made my throat swell and I felt like I could not breathe. I ended up going back to the hospital where they had to give me something to counteract the reaction I had received from the
antibiotics
.

PID abcess laposcopy adhesiolysis
In the meantime i was given x3 different
antibiotics
, and referred for a laposcopy. In total this time i have been on x3
antibiotics
for 46 days. I have further follow appointments and I am crossing my fingers it never returns. Why are so many women being given such a short course of
antibiotics
.

Lung function test
I had to postpone the first one as I was taking
antibiotics
. However, I now have pain when I breathe in on my right side. I don’t want to take more
antibiotics
until I’ve had the test but I’m worried that it will really hurt.

chest infection
I have not contacted my GP and don't really want to take
antibiotics
. My question is though, can my body actually fight this on its own? I don't want it to linger for weeks and weeks so maybe knocking it on the head with
antibiotics
will do the trick.
