Hello everyone, I am now medicated but still suffering tendon pains in my hands wrists & shoulders. Current endo is saying it’s not the hashimotos but I am sure it is. Rheumatology showed nothing so they put me on NSAIDs I am looking for a 2nd opinion; From the thyroid UK list I can see - Dr Rehman

Xgeva Side Effects
Hi!! Has anyone had extreme pain in hips, groin and femurs caused by Xgeva? I first started with pain in my right side. So bad that I literally have to lift my leg with my hands to get into the car. That was about a year ago. My doctor doesn’t seem to think there’s a problem and doesn’t address it.

Suggestions for questions for gastroenterologist?
Good evening all. Hope you’re as well as can be. Following 4 - 5 months of nausea, epigastric pain, chest pain and palpitations etc I recently underwent an endoscopy. The consultant’s initial report stated ‘diffuse erosive gastritis’ and ‘generalised ulcerated mucosa’. I have some photos and have to

Clinic recommendations for low AMH/ poor reaction to stimms / recurrent miscarriage
Hi everyone I’ve just finished my 3rd IVF cycle this week and we are waiting to see if our 1 embryo will make it to blastocyst. I have low AMH (6.2pmol or 0.86ng) and been having poor reaction to stimms. So far we haven’t got any frozen embryos as we are PGT-A testing them due to recurrent miscarriages

Donor eggs
Hello, Recently me and my husband went to a fertility clinic abroad to investigate the cause of recurrent failure implantation. I had 3 IVF fresh cycles and 1 frozen transfer. Our genetic test results came back good but my AMH is very low (0.26- I am 41 years old). Doctor explanation for the failure

knee - replacement advice
I ve had terrible left knee problems for six years and last year was diagnosed with OA in the left knee joint. The consultant at a trust in London advised there was nothing that could be done for me other than replacing the joint. But at 58 he felt I was too young and advised to go away; lose weight

Hi all! I’ve just completed my first ivf cycle and I’m looking for some advice from more experienced ivf ladies. in a nutshell, I’m wondering if I should change clinics or question them further. I am 40 and had previous successful pregnancy and miscarriages (12 years ago) good amh, afc and retrieved

No response to stims day 6 scan
Hi guys,After 5 days on Gonal F 300 and Femara, I've had my 1st scan and I am beside myself. There has been no response from either ovary. I have unexplained infertility and my AMH isn't bad for a 39 year old either. Doctor says to wait and re-evaluate in 3 days time. Dr Google, however, is telling me

cancelled cycle - period ten days early
Hi just wondered if anyone else has been in a similar situation following a cancelled cycle. I had Prostap to help with down regulation before transfer for 3 months (last injection June transfer July). Unfortunately it wasn’t successful. I have had normal periods since then (or what seemed normal

Frozen shoulder?
Since getting back from Cyprus where I saw a Rheumatologist but wasn't there long enough to get to the bottom of my symptoms, I've seen my GP who was appalled I'd been prescribed Pred (too young and no inflammation markers - actually I'm 56 and in Cyprus my ESR and CRP were considered raised though clearly

Experiences in East Kent?
Hi all,Has anyone had experience of being referred for IVF on the NHS in Kent? I'm wanting to get a bit of a picture in my head of time frames. We're under the subfertility clinic at the moment (EKHUFT) and have the next appointment in a few weeks following a bunch of tests - I expect we'll be referred

Reprise for Leflunomide
I am trying leflunomide again after a gap of about 9 years and lots of cancer treatment in between. Last time I got pulled off it by an officious CNS because of my spiky blood pressure. So this time I am ready for that but hoping that it will be otherwise side effect free…as before. i loved it when
