Hi all,Has anyone had experience of being referred for IVF on the NHS in Kent? I'm wanting to get a bit of a picture in my head of time frames. We're under the subfertility clinic at the moment (EKHUFT) and have the next appointment in a few weeks following a bunch of tests - I expect we'll be referred for IVF at that point as our NHS funding has already been approved. How does it work? Do they use private clinics? How long after referral does treatment actually start? Do they do extra tests at the clinic before hand? I've already had AMH done and it's really high (PCOS).

Hope you get some replies from this forum - it is a great source of information & support At your next appointment be sure to ask the questions mentioned in your post Make a list and take it with you Your treatment journey should be all explained to you a step at a time Remember if there is anything you do not understand ask questions Also take a look at hfea.gov.uk [ Regulator for all fertility clinics in UK ] Preparing for IVF
