I had a successful round at 39.5 with AMH of 2.8 pmol (taken a year before so probably even lower). 24 weeks with twins just now.

Congratulations thank u for giving me hope. X

Not had success but I’m much older than you(44). But I will be hoping success for you and all the others that are struggling at this time x take care. I know that there are some clinics that are more tailored to looking after women with reduced ovarian reserve. Look into mild ivf and banking cycles. 🤞

I had both very low AMH and age not on my side. I conceived naturally three times. First time when I was 41 but had a missed miscarriage at 6 weeks and then at 43 I had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks and finally I found out I was pregnant the day before my 44th birthday which has resulted in my little boy who is now 10 months old. I tried IVF twice but it didn’t work for me because of having low AMH as I only produced one egg each time. I wish you the best of luck. I know how hard this journey is. X

If you haven’t got any other complications I would strongly recommend trying each month. I am sure you probably already are. Low AMH does not mean you can’t get pregnant. It just means you are likely to yield less eggs through IVF. The biggest hurdle is age and as we get older there are less and less normal eggs. You are 40 so you still have better odds than I did at 43/44. Saying that I also know how hard and demoralising the process can be. It took us just over 2.5 years before we conceived our son. We nearly gave up and were on the brink of having a FET with a donor egg conceived embryo when I found out I was pregnant with him. I found out three days before I was due to start medication for the FET and this also happened to be the day before I turned 44. So miracles do happen. Couple of things I did which might or might not have made a difference were: I was taking: 1) a pregnacare tablet; 2) high strength vitamin D; and 3) impryl. I was also on levothyroxine because of slight issues with my thyroid. Wishing you the best of luck. X

Thank you yes i just got the mira fertility monitor and the fertilily cups to try naturally. Im worried sick it wont happen i was 37 and the doc said because i have low amh ivf was the only option. I have since learned this is not the case. Is impryl better than coq 10 and dhea. My husband is on that but didnt know we take it also. Thanks

I tried DHEA. Took it for nearly 3 months before doing IVF and I only got one egg. It did manage to get to blastocyst stage but when I had it tested it was aneuploid. So DHEA didn’t do much for me but everyone is different. You might want to look into whether DHEA increases the number of eggs and/or quality of eggs or if the increase in the number of eggs compromises the quality. I also tried coenzyme 10. In the end I just took the things I’ve mentioned in my last message. I had heard some positive stories about about Impryl hence trying it. I don’t know what did or didn’t work this time. Hard to know. X
