My period is back!!!
This could be terrible or sound bad when you’re TTC but I kinda feel that this might be good? My period stopped in December and in March the doctor said “Yeah, no follicles darling. You’ll need a donor”. And told me to leave the room... I didn’t give up, that rude doctor wasn’t going to ruin my dream

Humira or just anxiety?
I started Humira nearly 4 months ago and after 7 injections it finally started to work. I now feel more or less pain free with a bit more energy, fantastic! The trouble is at night I am waking up lots of times with a pounding heart and weird dreams which probably means I’m not sleeping deeply. Since

Day 9 follicle scan IVF
I've just had my day 9 scan. I'm on long protocol with synarel and 375 gonal f I'm 29 with low AMH (4.5) normal FSH and other hormones. I felt my scan yesterday was disappointing and my clinic also appeared the sane and didn't offer and reassurance but suggested it's likely I may just get one egg.

Day 9 IVF follicle scan
I had my day 9 follicule scan yesterday which im disappointed with. I'm 29 and have low AMH so I was warned to expect low numbers but can't help feel disappointed. I'm on long protocol (synaral nasal spray for down reg for almost 3 weeks then gonal F 375 and keep going with the synarel on half dose)

Another negative result 😢 next steps?
Over three stimulated cycles we have just experienced our fourth negative result after embryo transfer. Totally gutted and looking for advice on what to do next. Our first cycle produced decent numbers of eggs, but most were immature and the ones that did fertilise didn’t develop well. We later learned

Falling AMH level
Hi everyone, Just wondered if anyone has had a similar experience to me. My AMH level was tested twice in the past couple of years and came back at 11.8 and 13.8. We had a failed round of IVF in March and then an abandoned second round in August due to poor response. Because of my unexpected poor response

new clinic, different protocols and treatment
so as our clinic got bought over we went to meet a different consultant at the clinic that bought ours over last night. we decided given there was nothing we could do about this just to go with it and for our last frostie maybe this could be a positive change. straight away we felt welcome and the consultant

The rollercoaster begins...
We are starting our 5th IVF ICSI cycle now AF has finally decided to show up 4 days late. This will be our 3rd cycle with current clinic. As we have had a few months off since the last treatment they wanted to do a day 2 scan to make sure all is good for starting stims on day 5. Had my day 2 scan with

Can you help me join the dots?
Our first IVF cycle ended abruptly the day after egg collection with a phone call to say none of the 11 eggs fertilised. We had our follow up appointment on Thursday with our consultant which didn’t really answer any of our questions. He said ICSI was our only option and was fairly pushy about doing

Zero libido
Hi all I've an ongoing problem with my libido. To cut a long story short I've had an unknown condition for a number of years, with doctors and specialists ruling out everything, and have come to the conclusion it's high functioning ME/CFS. I have learned to cope with it and apart from this am generally

Confused about Ubiquinol/CoQ10. What your consultants say?
Hello, my first IVF consultation is months away, however, it seems that the sooner you start with supplements, the better. I am already on a pre-conception multi-vitaminic, extra Vitamin D (I am deficient), and I am now wondering whether Ubiquinol/CoQ10 can make a difference. My AMH was 2.2 ng/ml in

To start IVF during high stress or wait 3 months?
Hi all! I was just hoping for some advice. My dh and I are renovating a house, he's working 12 hour shifts and we're working up the house for full days on weekends. This project has taken far longer than expected (2 years) but we should finally be in the house by the end of October. The reno has brought

Tapering off Biologics.
Hello all, I’ve been away from this site for quite some time. This forum was my lifeline when I was first diagnosed and I will be eternally grateful for it. For the past two years I have been doing really well. I started out anti CCP positive with bone erosions. I have since been able to do everything

AMH level??
I have done new blood tests and my AMH is higher than what it was 2 years ago. Has anyone had this happen? I thought it was meant to go down as you get older? X

Does cycle day dictate follicle count?
Had ivf consultation today. Re testing my AMH with bloods but they also did an ultrasound to look for follicle count. The girl doing the scan said she couldn’t find my right ovary as I had a lot of “bowel gas”. I’ve had so many of these internal scans and always found both ovaries but I appreciate they

First round - low amh
Hello, After 18 months ttc we found out that My amh is 5 which is really low for my age (30). We have decided to start private ivf treatment in October and we are also going to NHS appointments in the meantime but our area has been in the news recently for cuts to funding for ivf treatment so I am expecting

Increase in Menopur dose and emotional day!
Hi, I had my first blood test today after taking Menopur for 4 days, 300iu dose which I know is high. My AMH levels had reduced which I had expected as I'm 39 and so was not a shock but obviously still a worry. My consultant has said to increase to 375iu until next Weds (have another blood test and scan
