just wondered if anyone else has been in a similar situation following a cancelled cycle.
I had Prostap to help with down regulation before transfer for 3 months (last injection June transfer July). Unfortunately it wasn’t successful. I have had normal periods since then (or what seemed normal)
we tried for a 5th cycle this month and it was our first cancelled cycle as my follicles did not grow. I’m now worried the Prostap has put me into menopause and I am only 32. I do have low AMH.
Following the failed cycle I went for a smear on Monday as this was due. Thursday my period came - 10 days early is this normal after a cancelled cycle? I’m worried I’m going into menopause! 😩
any thoughts or advice?

hey I’m sorry your cycle got cancelled! it’s really normal for your periods to be all over the place after a cancelled cycle, especially where youve used prostrap. I missed my periods for 3.5months once at 39 after a cancelled cycle with prostrap and panicked that was it my body had shut down! They had to induce my period with meds and everything but here I am 3 years later and still having regular periods (even had a successful pregnancy straight after this) so it was defo just the meds messing with my rhythm temporarily xx
Thanks so much for your reply! Oh that is reassuring. I was worrying as the prostap was part of a transfer in a previous cycle not for the cancelled cycle and the last one was June. I asked if the Prostap might have put me into menopause and they said it’s a possibility. I’ve been panicking thinking this is it at 32. Thanks for your reply 🙂
