Salt question ...
Hi All - I have NRH, and do everything I can to help my liver ...I don't drink, avoid NSAIDs, I exercise a lot, I'm a healthy weight and I eat clean. Actually my diet is almost completely single ingredient foods - the only two things I eat with any added salt are bread (2 slices a day) and mayonnaise

Low AMH of 3...heartbroken
Hi. So I had my HSG today which went well and tubes were clear. However, I also got the results of my blood tests and my AMH came back as 3 which is really low. I'm devastated and worried for the future now. We are being referred for IVF. Consultant said there is still hope but I'm really not feeling

Nitric-Oxide-Donating NSAIDs.
New study below [1]. Seems an age since I last read about nitric-oxide-donating NSAIDs & a possible anti-cancer effect. First: is anyone using one? From a 2005 paper on a nitric-oxide-donating aspirin [2]: "Nitric-oxide-donating aspirin (NO-ASA), consisting of ASA (aspirin) plus an -ONO2 moiety linked

Started taking DHEA and when to take ubiquinol and Co Q10?
Hi all, I haven't been on here for a while. Been trying to sort some headspace after 2 chemical pregnancies earlier this year after IVF and an FET. We have now changed clinics and so are looking forward to a fresh start. I have low AMH levels so my consultant has recommended taking DHEA for 3 months

Is this going to change my retirement plans?
I have been told by a specialist that I have COPD and asthma. I was never an asthmatic during my youth or working life. Three bouts of chest infections, bronchitis? Flu? I never even went to the dr with it, this over a long life is not much. Then suddenly I started.I had lived with a heavy smoker for

Little response on IVF lite drugs :(
Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation or can shed any light please ... I'm on my 6th attempt of IUI, but this time we decided to try it on a similar drug regime to that used in IVF lite, so that if this didn't work and we go to IVF next, it would give us an indication as to what

HSG test advice please
In 2014 I being diagnosed with both tubes be blocked so I had laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. My right tube couldn’t be safe so I had removed and my left tube was unblocked. After that I had a green light from a doctor that we can get pregnant naturally. So we was trying but wasn’t happening and we decided

Does a clomid-only IVF cycle work?
Hello again, Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Sending love to everyone who is on this crazy journey! I am trying to decide between two clinics for my third cycle. One clinic thinks I should have a clomid-only cycle (minimal stimulation) and the other clinic wants me to take low-doses of Gonal

When in your cycle should you have an Anti Follicle Count done?
Hi All This is my first post! My partner and I are considering IVF (I am 42 my partner is 43). In the last year we have had 3 miscarriages, so considering the chromosome testing. Anyway my question is does anyone know when in your cycle you should have an anti follicle count done (its a scan)? The

AMH levels and PCOS
Looking through some letters from Doctor from when some of the first tests were completed at fertility clinic. FSH is normal at 9.2 but AMH was elevated at 23.6... I also have PCOS, age 30. These tests were done back in November before starting Clomid and before MC. After 6 months on clomid (with

Living with Rhumatoid arthritis and the journey to a better me
Hi this is my first time here so I thought I would introduce myself and give a little bit of my back ground and my very long journey that has brought me to where I am today. I was diagnosed with JIA back in 2001, even though I had been having problems for a while with one of my knees it came out of nowhere

OTD day
So OTD is here finally and we have confirmation it is a BFN. 😕 Had been praying I was one of that lucky women who got negative 1-3 days early and a positive on test date. Alas it was not meant to be. After 2 failed single FET transfers and 1 positive double fresh transfer (ended in miscarriage

Does a Malar Rash, muscle pain & tiredness make Lupus???
Hi, I have a rash - a VERY itchy, painful, raw, stinging, burning rash. I've got it above my right eye (inner side) under it and - without any visible signs - on my cheekbones and under my chin and on my collar bone. I am concerned that though this rash FEELS like Rosacea it is actually Lupus. And although

Wondering if it’s the end of the line already
Hi, After my recent cancelled cycle where I didn’t respond to the drugs because of my very low AMH of 2, I’ve been told today I don’t qualify for another round of IVF (at least on the NHS) and have only a very small chance of ever conceiving naturally. I’m beyond devastated but also saw this coming
