Injury...I think
so i am coming up to 2 years running and never been injured, sure had a couple of aches and pains that a normal rest day cured. But since the marathon my left knee hasn't felt that great, but when walking and and running it feels fine. Just if i drive for more then half an hour it starts to hurt on

Diabetes: can you really eat to beat it?
Article taken from The Guardian
Just over four years ago, my GP gave me unwelcome news: I had type 2 diabetes. I was shocked. I didn’t match the stereotypical patient profile of an overweight couch potato. Aged 59, I was thin, fit and 5ft 7in tall, drank frugally, went running every week and weighed

The daft thing is with all my problems and having my left leg
amputation
4 years ago, the thought of having the shunt inserted in my arm is freaking me out. Oh well onward and upward

Indeed T2 diabetes with its dreadful consequences of neuropathy, kidney failure, blindness, gangrene,
amputation
shows no sign of abating, despite exhortations of all the national guidelines being adhered to by the majority of the populace of the planet.

Is it necessary to go into hell, of diabetes complications ?
Diabetes complications like blindness ( diabetes retinopathy), kidney failure ( nephropathy ), tingling and numbness of foot ( peripheral neuritis ), amputations of limb ( gangrene ) and even ED are common and that makes life hell. Is there no way to prevent or at least delay and minimise its effects

Raynaud syndrome on 2 digits - (1) infected - (1 inflamed.
At this stage, now,
amputation
was spoken on, however my infected left digit has started to weep blood from the opening. Painful?

SERRAPEPTASE ENZIME
A MEDICAL PRACTIONER told of a woman scheduled for hand
amputation
and a man scheduled for bypass surgery who both recovered quickly without surgery after treatment with Serrapeptase. More info; http://serrapeptase.co.uk Has anyone else had any results from taking it?

Would like
amputation
of all limbs or pain relief. At iMessage I wonder about our moral values - we wouldn't allow an animal to suffer with this chronic pain and yet some of us get very little or no help.

CRPS Sufferers
Complex Regional Pan Syndrome is internationally recognised as the Worlds Most Painful Incurable Condition, so excruciatingly painful that sufferers have attempted and in some cases succeeded in self-
amputation
in a desperate attempt to escape the pain but it has only caused the CRPS to spread further

At my wits end!
I'm terrified this will be a precursor to
amputation
and I 'assumed' if I looked after my diabetes, I could avoid such things. It's hard to learn it doesn't necessarily follow.

Before I was always concerned about my health I was afraid smoking would disable me with a serious health problem and/or
amputation
Yes. That is what smoking can do too. My grandmother was affected that way and she was a heavy smoker.

Why You Should Avoid Free Sugars
Diabetes can lead to severe complications, including
amputation
- there are 700,000 people per year in the UK getting a limb amputated as a result of diabetes. If you do the math (and I have), that's 135 amputations a week. Equally as worrying is the impact it's having on our children's teeth.

Amputation pain
I write on behalf of a friend with no internet access her husband had his arm amputated above the elbow earlier this year He has " phantom" pain BUT much worse than that totally debilitating pain from the stump itself He is led to believe that this is because the operation was not satisfactorily done
