Actemra and Managing Infections
I have been taking Actemra since June 2018. It allowed me to taper more quickly all through the summer; the Actemra side effects were manageable. In October it began. I had 2 ear infections about a month apart. Both times I had to take Amoxicillin. Then I had a toothache. It turned out to be an infection

Dentist & antibiotics
I had a mitral valve replacement in Nov 2018 and on the six week appointment with surgeon he reccomended to take antibiotics before going to the dentist even just for an hygienist appointment. I asked who will prescribed them and he said that my dentist will. I am due for a routine hygienist appointment

I may need antibiotics for sinus infection...help
I have agonising trigeminal neuralgia triggered by a bout of cold /flu. Waiting results but suspect I have another sinus infection. Amoxicillin triggered my colitis and makes it worse each time. This is what I have been prescribed in the past. Are thete any other antibiotics which may be less harmful

Hi. My husband has post PV Myelofibrosis and is poorly at the moment due to a sore throat, nasal congestion with fevers, fatigue. Antibiotics effect on RLS
I have been on Co-amoxiclav since last Friday evening (1 1/2 days) and, since then, my RLS has increased. I was wondering if this is a coincidence or whether anyone else has had problems with antibiotics

Signs of Bronchiectasis Flare up or Infection
Starting to recognize when I'm getting unwell as get mouth ulcers and nasty white blobs on my tongue along with chest pains and inflamed tonsils. As am on Doxy 3 times a week already wonder if it's worth sending sputum off. Have only recently had 2 lots of rescue Co-Amoxiclav.

Bronchiectasis and recurring chest infections
Hi everyone, hope you are all as well as can be. Sadly, I have not been at my best for quite some time. Symptoms of CMV virus
Hi Was wondering if a sore throat is symptomatic of CMV virus? I've had one for several weeks now and GP prescribed a weeks course of amoxycillin, which I have completed, but I still have a sore throat. I'm six months post transplant. Thanks for any feedback.

Asthma and antibiotics
Around three weeks ago I developed a nasty infection - coughing up all kinds, blocked nose etc. GP prescribed amoxicillin which was useless. I attended Wythenshawe for my Mepo - I mentioned I had been unwell to the nurse who asked for a sputum sample which I provided. I had to go back to GP was matters
