Thyroid blue horizon test 11
Hi, please may I have some advice. I have just ordered a thyroid test. The doctor has just administered Amoxicillin for an ear infection, should I wait until I have finished the course or will it be ok to do it whilst I'm taking the medication. Thank you

Was feeling a tad fed up last night - but better now!
At 1.00 am I was feeling just a tad sorry for myself. I'm getting predictable chest infections so it's two weeks on amoxicillin and the same time on prednisilone every month, then a reasonably good week followed by a 'going down hill' week. Many will know how prednisilone can play havoc with your sleeping

Hashimoto's, venous insufficiency and helicopter pylori sufferer
Hi, I took a 7 day stint of amoxicillin, clarithromycin and proton pumpers back in May for helicopter pylori. It is back and was wondering if anybody has had success with mastic gum or matula tea. Thanks.

Still having pain in urethra after treating UTI. What do I do?
My doctor then put my on 5 days of 500mg
ampicillin
(1 pill twice a day) but I only got through 3 days (6 pills) because it turns out I had an allergic reaction to the drug.

Problem with Bronchiectasis
Hi. I was diagnosed in 2009 with the very rare Yellow Nail Syndrome which comprises sinusitis, lymphoedema and bronchiectasis. Since then, I have had infections of the sinus and chest requiring antibiotics 3-4 times a year. Until this year, I took 500mh Amoxycillin for 14 days but in April this year,

Amoxicillin and Methotrexate
It's been a while but I have a 'middle' ear infection and a doctor I hadn't seen before prescribed me with Amoxicillin to take 3 pills a day for 5 days... is it okay to take this? I am freaking out because I've read that your kidney stops secreting the methotrexate and its toxic/fatal? (I take 25mg methotrexate

2 X 3000 ENOUGH OF B12 LOZENGES BETWEEN B12 INJECTIONS WHEN VERY, VERY FATIGUED??
Managed to get hold of Dr. Chandy from B12d website and he suggested 2 x 3000 B12 lozonges. Do you guys think that would be high enough dose to get my fatigue gone after the Amoxicillin as I can't wait till my September B12 shot! Wondered if 5000s would be more effective.

Discouraged
I had an ablation on July 13th. I had been controlling my symptoms with meds since 1999. On the 15th I felt dizzy and weak for about an hour. On the 19th I had an afib episode for 20-30 seconds. Then on the 21st I had one for just over 8 hours. The doctor said it doesn't mean the procedure was not successful
