Help! TSH 'normal' on new bloods
Hi all I have no idea what is the best course of action to take. I was raised onto 100mg of levo 7 weeks ago when my TSH had crept up to 5.6. I didn't get a copy of my bloods. It is worth noting that I was put onto a different brand of tablets for the 100s too. Anyway, I've felt totally rubbish since

Hello
I obesses over thinking I have or will soon have
ALS
. I've struggled with this for over two years now. It has for the most part ruined my peace. Glad to be a part of this and look forward to hearing from others and hopefully being helpful in some way.

Introduction
That came back negative so he did a nerve conduction study and said he detected active denervation in my spine and he was concerned that I had
ALS
and he shipped me to Mayo. The docs at Mayo automatically suspected FND but they ordered another nerve conduction study.

LYME DISEASE IS REAL IN THE WORLD
The infection spreads to the brain and the person might be diagnosed with neurological conditions because the tests show white plaques in the brain similar to Multiple Sclerosis; the body weakness could be similar to
ALS
or to lupus, and depending on the testing the person could be misdiagnosed and probably

Not the worst thing I've had to live with....
I was diagnosed ten years ago and had a biopsy to diagnose PBC and have had two more, five year intervals, to stay on top of things. Also have upper endoscopies to check for varices (varicose veins in the throat and esophagus) every two years. My Alk-phos progressively got worse as time passed and pretty

For instance: My swallowing issue fueled my fire with my fear of
ALS
. Lasted for 10 days. Then, it went away. No issue swallowing anymore.

There is a quote from the book "Tuesdays with Morrie", about a college professor dying of
ALS
, Lou Gehrig's Disease, where Morrie says, "But there are days when I'm depressed. Let me not deceive you. I see certain things going and I feel a sense of dread.

Will I ever start feeling better?
Hi everyone I can't tell you how relieved I am to have found this forum. Long story short, I have been filling ill since I was 30. I am 35 on Friday and may be slowly getting somewhere but that's down to the fact I have been fighting for help from my GP and various hospital departments. When I was 30

Trouble swallowing. ALS fears again. This time, the fear is debilitating.
Of course, this brought up the
ALS
fears, again😩 Now I'm thinking back to my original complaints of feeing short of breath, to now having issues swallowing. It all just lines up that I could have respiratory onset

Hard to believe doctors
I was worried
ALS
, MS, PARKINSONS, etc... he tried to reassure me that I do not have Parkinson's or ms. He said he does not diagnose
ALS
but is 1000% that an
ALS
NEUROLOGIST would say the same thing. Should I believe him ? Since I still get little twitches in different part of body?

Feeling positive after Rheumy appointment........I think!
First diagnosed March 2016 started on 20mg. Reduced too quickly to 11/12mg by July - lack of advice and guidelines at the time. Thank goodness I found this site! Having struggled for past few months with dreadful shoulder pains and immobility I realised that I had lost control and my PMR was flaring.
