Hi everyone! I had another follow up appointment with my primary care physician today to go over blood work results from last time. My ANA is positive again. Quick history: positive in December 2020 at 1:640; positive again June 2021 at 1:1280, and 1:1280 in December of 2021. It came up negative August

worried about high levels
Good morning everyone. It has been a while, and I had asked for blood tests before I went and had some private B12 injections, as my own Doctor had stopped them. My B12 was also low due to malabsorbtion, and PA results were borderline. I am symptomatic and feeling really bad lately. Its over a year

Had #4 last week. My PSA has dropped from 120 to 80. ALK Phos now normal! CT showed decreased node size with one new spot. The bone scan showed a worsening in all old spots (multiple bilateral ribs and many vertebrae involved) and we have some new. The thought is it may be a ‘flare’. We will continue

Extremely Discouraged
Hi everyone. I sit here wondering how to share my thoughts. I am so discouraged at this point and have no idea where to turn. I have been dealing with symptoms for years now. No matter how many doctors I see, none of them will truly entertain the idea of an autoimmune disease. Despite all my symptoms

Dosage of Ursodiol
Looking at my M2 Antibody levels from the last 2 blood panels, it looks like I have PBC. My other levels, GGT and Alk Phos are within normal range. My doctor has prescribed Ursodiol for me to treat the PBC and the dosage seems high. I am to take a 500mg tablet in the morning and a 250mg tablet at

Advice on my blood test results, please.
Hello, I was diagnosed in August and really benefitted from advice from people here. I am lacking confidence in the GP as I feel they don't do anything proactively, although they have seemed happy to follow the guidance I am given here. My blood test results are below. I have been prescribed Vitamin

Comments please on recent blood tests. Thank you very much
Hello everyone, I did some blood tests this week, and here are the readings. I' m on 75mcg thyroxine a day, and take supplements for B12, vitamin D&K2. I have been on T4 for about 3 years. I've been on higher doses of T4 (up to 150mcg) but it only lowered my TSH without making a significant difference

Thyroid and Positive ANA Test
I have an under active thyroid and have been on 150 Levothyroxine for a few years. Latest blood tests show my thyroid is where it should be. Last year my hands and feet got painful and swollen and X-rays of my hands show osteoarthritis. Doc ordered more blood tests to check, for Rheumatoid Arthritis.

My Liver on Kratom....
Hi all.....this is my first post after years of following this invaluable forum. I've been waiting to post until I had something positive to contribute but unfortunately, I'm compelled to share some not so great news now regarding Kratom after reading some recent posts supporting its use. First I would

Positive ANA
Does PA cause a positive ANA test result? I had two positive results back in 2018 but the man negative in 2021 and April 2022. I had labs done last week due to some symptoms I’ve been having and my ANA came back positive. Odd thing is there were several labs listed for the ANA patters but all came back

ALT/SGPT
Any idea why this test went for 34 to 103 ? I had blood work done yesterday and my doctor didn’t say anything about this. This test is usually in the low to mid 30s for the last year. Thanks you you all and keep a good attitude, they say that’s half of the battle! Hugs!!

Positive ANA (1:1280, Homogenous) Very Symptomatic, All Other Antibodies Negative
Hi everyone! I am starting on year 3 of trying to figure out what my diagnosis is, but year 6 of symptoms. My ANA has been 640, 1280, and then greater than 1280, then suddenly last test negative. I have checked this box and know that, despite the previous negative ANA, something is definitely wrong.

Spinal cord stimulation
I live in Ireland and saw a pain specialist as I have run out of options to treat my chronic refractory migraines. He is going to implant a spinal cord stimulation as he said it should me a lot and give me a better quality of life. He is the best pain doctor in Ireland and I had to wait 6 months to see

Waiting part tres
No quesions really. Radiation down 2 weeks ago to left hip region helped but gut messed up now. Some high intestinal/stomach bleeding (due to what?) caused a couple black stools and dropped Hb a bit, but cleared up now. Case of GERG has joined in. Alk phos at 110ish for last 2 months, PSA at 35 now.

High Positive ANA Suddenly Negative - Still Struggling With Symptoms
Hi everyone! I will try to keep this as brief as I can, but it's a long story. I am 24, but have been experiencing medical issues since I was 15. It started out as severe migraines, which blessedly have gone away; however I now deal with a host of other symptoms. These include frequent headaches, memory

Keeping Interferon refrigerated
Hi, I've recently started taking Peginterferon alfa-2a, and I keep it in my fridge because that's what the instructions say. I'm going to visit my girlfriend in Scotland a week tomorrow. My journey is going to take two days, so I'll leave home on Saturday morning, stay in a hotel halfway on Saturday
