Hi i was just wanting to know if any one has had covid twice? So i cought covid in june 2022 first time i was really poorly, ive had a really chesty cough and hadnt slept with it for 2 nights to the point every time i cough its burning and hurts so much. I have been diagnosed recently with membranous nephritus, and having further investigations to whats causing this so not a full diagnosis in full yet. My neuropathic specialist thought it could be lupus but ive had negative Ana test and nothing showed in my kidney biopsy that would show lupus. Im just really worried as i tested posotive today for covid that im going to be really poorly again i suppose a long flare up of varoius lupus type symptoms again. I wonder should i contact my specialist? Or just ride the covid out hoping that it will not be too bad?
Thanks

Sorry to hear you have caught covid again. I can understand your worries . I would contact your rheumatologist , seeing as you were so unwell the first time they may treat you as such and give you IV treatment . I have lupus caught covid in July 22 I was given IV antibodies on day 4 and although I got a chest infection I believe it helped me . Nearly 3 monthes on I am doing okay
I`ve got a friend with RA she`s had it 3 times. When i got it i had a transfusion at my local hospital which really helped me. You can phone the 119( i think it is) covid helpline for advise. Hope you feel better soon xx
