Hello,
It's been a week of daily CBD oil capsules (30mg). It is recommended that the dose for beginners is around 10mg working your way up from there, but I was never one for gradual. Go Big or Go Home! I held my expectations in check maintaining the observers perspective on the effects and was most pleased with the results.
My mind is typically on the chaotic side with a non-stop bombardment of You should do this.... task oriented thoughts. It has caused me to scurry from task-to-task interrupting one to get on to another, then back to finish the other in a sequence that has kept be continuosly busy for up to 3 hours! Exhausting to say the least, but that was my life before CBD.
Now the frequency and volume of these thoughts has slowed to a manageable level and I am able to discern whether or not the thought is worth taking action or waiting. What is perhaps the most interesting aspect is that my mind is clear enough that I will look at something and realize that there is a better way of doing it. Or I will see that a slight rearranging of furniture provides better functionality and a more pleasing look.
I have been taking zolpidem for well over two years, and have always understood and felt that this needed to stop. Once I started the CBD I went cold turkey on the zolpidem, kind of rough for about five days. My mind is sufficiently still for me to fall asleep without the sleep aid. Even better I awake without the "hang over" grogginess. So far I have not experienced any undesirable side-effects from CBD.
So, for me CBD has improved the quality of my life. I would say to do thorough research, seek input from your healthcare professionals, then perhaps give it a try. The only drawback is the significant cost, but I am determined to make the necessary budgetary changes to accommodate the monthly expense.
If you should give CBD oil a go, I wish for you the best possible outcome
