Magnesium Supplements
I'm taking 350mg soluble magnesium carbonate every other day, as suggested by my GP before I was diagnosed. However, I have read that Magnesium Glycinate is specifically recommended for absorption and also as a sleep aid of sorts. Would welcome any feedback - i.e. what dose should be taken daily

Over the can past months I’ve noticed more and more hair in my brush- I just brushed less - once in the morning usually - and very gently. But it niggled….I can do without any more stuff to cope with! (The appetite!! The whiskers!!) So, two weeks ago I bought a bottle of Plantur shampoo, and here’s

Anyone Have Blood Clots Following Chemo?
I have just been diagnosed with nearly a foot-long blood clot in my right leg. An ultrasound indicates the clot's in a smaller vein near the surface of the skin, as opposed to a deep vein. But it is raising concern of my doctor as it's apparently close to a junction with a larger vein. It is extremely

Myo-inostiol and Selenium for Hashimoto's (2017)
Interesting read: Myo-inostiol and Selenium for Hashimoto's (2017) You might already know that selenium can be very helpful for Hashimoto’s. It’s an antioxidant that supports the production of glutathione. Selenium is helpful in reducing anti TPO antibodies. This study compared patients using selenium

Sandie1961 has already posted about today’s outing to a real event but I wanted to share my take on it. Thrombophilia and covid vaccination
After a pulmonary embolism 5 years ago, I was diagnosed with thrombophilia. I am now taking Rivaroxaban 20mg. I live in Cyprus, where monitoring is minimal, so I can't refer to a specialist with any issues. My age group (50) is soon coming up as eligible for the covid vaccination, so I am starting

Pulmonary Hypertension
Has anyone else here been diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension? I have had two Right-heart Catheterizations. The first showed pressure of 60 and the second one showed pressure of 74. So obviously the disease is progressing. I would just like to talk with someone one else who has it so we can commiserate
