Anyone experienced a dramatic AMH drop?
I had my AMH tested a year and half ago and everything was fine at 24 pmol/L. It was 35 at the time. Since then I've had several rounds of unsuccessful IUI, the last two of which ended in early miscarriage. I now want to move onto IVF so I had my AMH done again. I am now 37 and was shocked that it has

Do you believe in home remedy? I mean sometimes we get colds and then our throat gets itchy and eventually will lead to cough. Do you have any first aid from that before going to your doctor? Actually, I had an itchy throat last night and I get a cough now. Its hard and its so bad. My throat is really

Liver Biopsy and AI
My doctor suggests liver biopsy to determine if this can be related to
AIH
at the same time telling me that it is highly unlikely. The first question is - Is it common to do biopsies as a means of diagnosing this disease?

Any body got any tips?
Since stopping my adventure into T3 because of a fast pounding heart. Each night I am awakened by it. I am wondering if anyone has any first aid tips on how to deal with it. I think I must go to A&E but that is not a prospect I relish. I saw a private endo to try and cut down on husbands anxiety

how long after surgery should you wait before getting AMH retested?!
how long after surgery should you wait before having AMH levels retested? I had extensive surgery for stage 4 endometriosis four weeks ago and a follow up appt at RFC today and I highly suspect they are going to get me to do a blood test today, surely this is much too early for them to recover to what

LDN Dosing for Cancer - General Guide
For an adult cancer patient who has “no evidence of disease” and wants to use LDN as recurrence prevention, I generally set a target dose of 2mg – 4.5mg. I start at 2mg and gradually increase to 3mg then 4mg then 4.5mg as tolerated. I use bedtime dosing as long as sleep is ok prior to starting LDN.

Where to go from here…
Good Morning Just come back from my consultation after a failed transfer. I have had 2 cycles, 3 transfers and no positive tests. We also have male fertility issues, so have done ICSI. Consultant was pretty blunt tbh, didn’t sugar coat anything. Told me to get bloods etc done again to check autoimmune

*Sensitive* Thank you and good bye ❤️
I first joined this forum in 2016! Which was the start of my journey. I am so lucky that my journey is now at an end and my family is complete, to write that is surreal as I never imagined it would happen. I hope with all my heart that you all find this peace and can be relieved of never having to think

Failed IVF cycle (Blastocyst) after endometriosis surgery and low AMH value
Hi everyone, I'm a 29-year-old woman who has been trying to conceive for the past five years without success. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and underwent surgery in November 2022. My AMH value was found to be 0.74, which is low for my age. I started my first IVF treatment in March 2023 and had

0 eggs at 4th egg collection - empty follicles - have you had similar issue or have any advice please?
Hi All, At my 4th egg collection 0 eggs were collected :( Previous 3 rounds I was on 450 Meriofert short protocols and had 7, 7, 4 eggs with 3, 2, 1 blasts. At 3rd collection had 12 follicles over 17mm but only 4 eggs as most follicles were empty. I have changed clinic for 4th cycle and was on 375

Advice on treatment next steps (before IVF)
Hello, I’m relatively early in my treatment journey but already thinking about next steps, so it would be great to hear from anyone who has been on a journey. I’m on round three of a medicated cycle (letrozole +HCG shot + cyclogest pessaries) to treat a luteal phase defect. My husband has normal sperm

Excited and apprehensive ahead of my first EC
Not been on here for a while as was feeling a bit overwhelmed and think I was reading too much, but now it’s finally happening and wanted to document my journey both for myself and if it helps anyone else reading! Started stims on Good Friday and at my first scan on Wednesday I had 6 follicles - which

Short vs long protocol
Hi guys, I’ve got another conundrum 😖 I’ve had two failed rounds of IVF on the short protocol. Both cycles resulted in far fewer than expected eggs collected and only ever one low quality embryo transferred each time. Only difference between the two cycles was my gonal f dose was doubled for the second

Clinic recommendations; Oxford area
Hello all! We are looking for clinic recommendations in the Oxford area! We have been investigated so far on the NHS, with a current diagnosis of "unexplained infertility", but are ineligible for NHS funding as we are 36 and 37, so private it will have to be! We live in Bicester, so are looking

Referral to Professor Siobhan Quenby for RIF

When to move to donor eggs?
Hi everyone, I’m on my third cycle of IVF with my own eggs. I have pretty low AMH (9) and although I’ve had 10 eggs from cycle 1&2 just one embryo that tested abnormal, so quality is an issue too. no probs with my partner. My third cycle is following a similar path to the last one; small number
