I started my injections on January first 🥳 and today was my first scan to see how things are doing.
3 eggs in my right ovary and 0 on my left...(lazy one...) My doctor tells me EC should be around next Wednesday, but Monday I will have another scan and he will know for sure! Do you think there is any chance of having mores eggs until EC?
I am 43, with AMH on the low side, do you think 3 eggs is less to be expected? The doctor didn't mentioned anything apart from that they are all growing at the same rhythm and that he likes that!
Thank you in advance for all the feedback!
Lots of sticky magic to you all 😍

Hi - so I think the pool of follicles is recruited by now, it's just the sizes which change as they grow. I stand to be corrected. If they are growing in sync that's brilliant. Following as I'm also 43. Good luck, and all the best for collection x
It does only take one! And quality does matter. I've already had a few cycles last year - in Leeds, UK and one in Greece. I'm deciding where next to go again in Feb x
Did they definitely say 3 eggs or 3 follicles? Usually they tell you how many follicles they can see, and there can be multiple eggs within these. Good luck for next week!
Hi PPea, Wishing you loads of luck for your upcoming EC. I expect that’s your number; the fact the doc is pleased with the sizes is good! I had my egg collection on Tue. They could see 4 but expected to retrieve 2as my sizes were all over the place! In the end, they retrieved 4 and 3 fertilised normally. I’m just 44. I had a Day 2 transfer (yesterday) for the first time ever so now in the tww. I put a message up before as I was disappointed with number of follicles but I had a few replies to say that their successful round started with their lowest number collected. Sending luck and hugs your way 🤞🍀xx
