Auto immune hepatitis (AIH) and decompensated cirrhosis
Consultant had taken me off
AIH
meds Nov 2019 when bloods were normal. A year later I have the above diagnosis. Now they say they will not put me back on
AIH
meds, it’s not the policy. Am I just being left to die or are others with this well without meds?

Looking for some advice, I was diagnosed with

AIH Newly diagnosed in April 2020
I had my liver biopsy in April and was diagnosed with
AIH
the same month. Please could you tell me if it is usual for the Dr to not give me any medication at the beginning? I had a blood test in May but nothing since then. Thank you for reading x

Low vitamins, underactive thyroid, type 1 diabetes and autoimmune hepatitis.
I’m 23 years old, female and have type 1 diabetes (diagnosed age 3), an underactive thyroid (diagnosed age 16) and autoimmune hepatitis (
AIH
- diagnosed age 22). After being diagnosed with
AIH
I’ve really noticed my underactive thyroid making my life even more difficult than before.

Cirrhosis and AIH
I've been living with
AIH
since 2006. I always thought it was relatively well controlled and I was plodding along nicely until I got to April/May of this year. I began to break out in hives and did the usual things of checking for allergies, washing powder, clothing, food etc.

Query?
I have
AIH
/PBC and take 1000mg mycophenolate and 3 mg of bud. Daily can any one tell me what venerable group I fall in? Just thinking about the vaccine time which I can’t wait to get!

Dark urine
I had a biopsy for probable
AIH
a few weeks ago. I won't get the results until I get an outpatients appointment, which I'm still waiting for. Over the last couple of months I've noticed that my urine has got darker and darker. I haven't had a blood test since July.

AIH diagnoses with asymptomatic patients, questions and my story
Or should ultrasound pick up
AIH
related cirrhosis? What about fibrosis? 3. Is there any possibility this is drug related and not
AIH
? From cetiritzine or diclofenac gel? Cetiritzine can rarely cause elevated lfts and diclofenac pills also, although I used diclofenac gel.

Weak ASMA result
Doctor said he can’t treat me For
AIH
as my numbers are well below the typical range? Even if I have a biopsy he still can’t offer a treatment plan, so I should just see how I get on and maybe retest in six months! Should I get second opinion? I’m very worried

Newbie with possible vasculitis
I was then referred to haematology who, over the phone, said it was my medication for the
AIH
, it couldn't possibly be anything else, and to continue having weekly bloods and she would speak to me again in 3 months!

PBC/AIH overlap new diagnosis don’t know what to expect
Consultant suspects PBC/
AIH
overlap because of the high ALT and has said will need liver biopsy. Have since had fibroscan and further bloods and been prescribed URSO. I now haven’t heard anything further from hospital and don’t know result of fibroscan .

Aldara and AIH
I got the diagnosis of
AIH
in feb 2017 and 3 year later a relapse. Both events were preceded by Aldara-treatment according to actinic keratosis. My hepatolog think that the doses of Aldara is too small. I did a Google and found one case of relapse in Autoimmine disease when a person got Aldara.
