Spiraling big time. Going through a divorce.
His
addiction
to video games had caused a rift and we were supposed to be mending our relationship, but every time we fight he threatens to play his game, something that devastated us a year ago. He’s playing again and tells me we aren’t together.

Thank you for prayers for my son and family.
My son who had an
addiction
problem finally walked into a hospital to get psychiatric and detox. He learned that he is bipolar. Ironically, he doesn’t want to keep taking his medication for his mental health because he doesn’t like how it makes him feel.

Day 13- First time post, cold turkey, and I feel like I'm going crazy.
My
Addiction
may be able to convince my Conscious to give in, but how can I justify my
Addiction
to my kids...they're getting smarter. And that's why I'm quitting. Not only because I don't want them the think I'm a hypocrite, but because I'm their role-model.

Anxiety, Depression, Addiction
I am struggling with bouts of major depression and go a lesser extent anxiety. Alcohol was how I dealt with these painful emotions. I wake up feeling like it's another day in hell. It lingers and sometimes it's debilitating and other times it's manageable. I hope everyone is finding the support

Ignorance
At the time I wasn't living a healthy lifestyle and would go as far to say I had a sugar
addiction
(some research suggests this can bring on AMD, not in everyone who has it, its not a case of "One size fits all") Had I been told in the previoius eye test I could and would of, made the life style changes

I uploaded the image to my newest cheap domain buy (I have an

What am I missing?
I know if I solved the
addiction
problem the depression would certainly lessen. I know the
addiction
would be easier to conquer if my personality wasn't so impulsive and I didn't get such tunnel vision so often.

Need advice
I’m terrified of developing an
addiction
. I don’t think I can be having withdrawal from 3 (.25) pills, but these are the exact symptoms associated with benzo withdrawal. Am I imagining all of this? It’s soooooo real to me. I’m terrified, alone, and don’t know what to do.

Me
I've admitted to a gambling
addiction
, lost a family member which I feel guilty about, and have lied to her about stupid things like how much money I've spent on things.

So easy falling off that wagon...
And then so hard to get up and get back on that
addiction
recovery wagon. I've had two binges in the last three weeks. First was after I came of the meds (antibiotics); when I stayed sober for 11 days. Then I hit it hard: a bottle of Scotch a day.

Am I Alone...Mental illness and addiction???
Many people/professionals I've talked to say that it is common for
addiction
and mental health illnesses to go hand in hand for a majority of the people that have mental illnesses.

New podcast series: running clothing for beginners
Warnings of the
addiction
. Warnings about the credit card drain. Horrific stories about the queues for the loo, setting off too fast, hollow laughter at the course description of 'undulating', and wild applause at the end as you cross that finish line and collect the bling. Week 8: Gadgets.
