Vitamin d3 5000 side effects.
It suddenly occurred to me all the gi issues I've been having could be from the supplements I take. Specifically the vitamin d. Back a couple of years ago I noticed a slight problem with gi spasms. They have gotten so bad they effect my Parkinson's medication and the pd itself. I can't find where

Latest Lab results
Latest lab results. I think they look quite good. Feel much better except for the aches and pains but my Vit D was so low that part of it will take some time :) Been on 2 grains for 2 months of NDT 4000IU a day of Vitamin D3 and 1000mg of Vitamin B12 3 months ago. Biochemistry CRP H 3.10 <3.0

Any ideas please?
Due to the cost of Armour in February I bought Nature Throid to try this and started on 7th March, 3g Armour changed to 3g Nature Throid. Within 5 days of taking this all my symptoms came back, but most particularly swellings in my thighs. Between the 13th March and 2nd April I took 2g Armour and Ig

Other Vit supplements
Hi all, I am finding it difficult to get my head round the vitamins I need to supplement to support the B12 injections. I am presently having B12 twice weekly (probably not for much longer) I have been tested for Vit D deficiency which came back at 25, so now have been given colecalciferol 20000 units

Oh boy, stumped again about what next,,,
Big hellos fellow Hashi-Hypos Long time no post but, alas, I have another chunky log of tests and symptoms to submit to your collective expertise. Tried to make it easy on the eye - hope that's worked: As per advice of some of you guys and private functional medicine GP ( Dr C in Hendon) on November

Alendronic Acid
Hi, it would be great to get people's opinions please. My Dexa scan wasn't brilliant, I'm osteopenic, verging on osteoporosis in my spine 😕 My doctor has prescribed Alendronic Acid but I've read such bad reports about this medication I'm really reluctant to start taking it. I have a rich calcium diet

Dental work, while on steroids
I am a year into GCA and after one flare am back to reducing from 10 mg. Yesterday I thought I had lost a filling but it turns out I have lost the entire back of one of my top incisors and there doesn't seem to be much tooth left. I hope to see a dentist tomorrow but want to be prepared. I am assuming

Does Calcichew interact badly with bisoprolol
My neighbour (an ex nurse) has warned me that taking Calcichew D3 forte can interact with Bisoprolol. This has got me worried as since last Sept. I have been taking both. I have been taking Calcichew (1 a day) for many years for my osteoporosis but have only been on Bisoprolol since my AF became persistent
