I have received my love letter.
I have just received my love letter from Matt. 4 pages printed on both sides that tells me absolutely nothing that I do not already know, other than the link to obtain my free low dose of Vitamin D. Will it be vitamin D3 or the D2 form which is much less effective: quote/ "D3 is approximately 87% more

Seeking guidance on my blood test results
Hi all I was diagnosed underactive over 20 years ago and unfortunately never felt any benefit from starting Levothyroxine. However I stuff with my GP's advice and continued taking the tablets. Last year I saw an Endocrinologist who directed me to his private clinic where I started a trial of T3 unfortunately

Osteoporosis treatment
I have had RA for 38 years and taken steroids when necessary throughout this time. Had 3-yearly Dexascans, the last one showing I had Osteopenia. My stomach will not tolerate Alendronic acid or similar. I take Adcal but realise with 3/4” height loss I need to be on something that will increase bone

Alternatives to Adcal
Hi I responded badly to Adcal and my GP said there would be enough calcium in my diet. I take vitD and K2 plus multi vitamin daily and I’m on 8mgs Pred. However, I’ve been on a bio-sulphate for over three years and want to stop. Any suggestions as to another kind of calcium I could take? Thanks!

Hi everyone Bella here. I’ve been a bit quiet for a while just ticking along, having had 5 denosumab injections to date, next one due next month actually. Meanwhile, Monday 19th I’m going to have my second DEXA scan done privately and see if these injections have made any difference. I’ve done this

Taking supplements
Does anyone know if it’s safe and beneficial to take vitamin D3 and super magnesium whilst taking Bisoprolol, Candesartan and Rosuvastatin. Also Collagen tablets. Thought I’d up my vitamins as my nails and teeth need some attention. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Adcal and Pred
Would one of our experts please clarify taking Adcal and Pred at the same time please. I currently take all of my Pred, Metamorfin, Lanzaprosal and adcal with my breakfast. What should I be doing? Is the Pred ineffective if taken at the same time as Adcal?
