Dated today (11/18) from JAMA:

"Objective: To follow up on the possible reduction in cancer death in the Vitamin D and Omega-3 Trial (VITAL) with an evaluation of whether vitamin D reduces the incidence of advanced (metastatic or fatal) cancer and an examination possible effect modification by body mass index.

"... findings suggest that vitamin D3 may reduce the risk of developing advanced cancer among adults without a diagnosis of cancer at baseline; this protective effect is apparent for those who have normal but not elevated body mass index."

Thanks for sharing. I've been taking vitamin D3 for 20 years. Can't say if D3 is responsible for my longevity but why not do all you can for yourself.

I take D3, calcium and magnesium (and vitamin K2) mainly as a bone management strategy because prolonged ADT weakens bones.
