Hi I am new to this.site ..Does anyone have the problem of laryngospasm which seems to be triggered by
acid
reflux
. It's terrifying,!! unable to breathe as my voice box slams shut and leaves me hoarse with a sore throat for days afterwards.

If it is not asthma, could there be something wrong with my lungs? 🤔🤔
He gave me loads of different
acid
reflux
medication to try to see if it would help my coughing at all, but to no avail. He was also surprised to hear that I am yet to have a chest X-ray (I was never offered one) to get a closer look at my chest.

Feeling of lump in the throat
These symptoms alternate and come and go throughout the day Is that also
acid
reflux
? If so whats the science behind this? I had endoscopy in October and that showed no hernia or esophagusritis or ulcer or gastritis. The biopsy showed H pylori presence.

Prolia / Denosumab Opinions
I had first Prolia last August and I just had second. I did feel very achy for a number of weeks after the first. I have just googled and seen alarming things like Infections with Prolia / rebound fractures/ lots of problems. By the way , only on it as I found Alendronic acid hard to comply

Denosumab / Prolia ? Opinions
Has anyone here had Prolia ( Denosumab ) as they kept forgetting to take Alendronic acid . Prolia is a 6 monthly injection. I have been googling and become very alarmed. I certainly wont have it again. I would be grateful if anyone who has had it could share their experiences.

Free ebook of 300 pages:"Parkinson's here and now. 27 years searching for a cure for Parkinson's disease (1994-2021)."
This coming Monday (if everything goes as planned) I will publish on my blog "Parkinson's here and now" the link to a free book of about 250-300 pages and in printable pdf format, which collects the most interesting of the book I published in 2015 (now translated into English) as a tribute to my father

I do have gastric
acid
reflux
and am awaiting an endoscopy. The gastro didn't seem overly concerned and said the omeprazole I take can be affecting my ability to absorb iron, b12. But my mind is racing that I have something more going on. Anyone have a similar experience?.

Why we eat too much
Hi everyone. I am currently reading a book by Dr Andrew Jenkinson entitled Why We Eat Too Much. It is so interesting and really explains how eating and obesity relates to our hormone balance and the effects processed food and refined carbohydrates / sugar has on this. Interestingly it also discusses

When to stop taking Omeprazole?
I have had no issues whatsoever with
acid
reflux
so I’m wondering whether I could leave off the Omeprazole. I emailed the rheumatology dept at the hospital but got a reply which just stated that I would have my next follow up appointment in February. Not very helpful.

Alendronic Acid 2 years on.
I said I'd write this post as it may or may not help anyone considering taking this medication to make a decision. I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis in 2016, having being diagnosed coeliac in 2015. My t score at the time was -2.5 in my Spine. I also had osteopenia in my hips. I was advised then to go

Is a sore throat a GCA symptom?
I’m writing this for my mother and apologies in advance for the lengthy explanation. My mother was diagnosed with PMR in November. We think she probably had it for sometime but as my father was receiving full time palliative care at home we were not as aware of her health issues as my dad was so poorly

Fusidic cream
I’ve been prescribed fusidic acid cream for an infected cyst/boil on my scalp. Not read anywhere that it’s okay to use on scalp/head but presuming it is as nurse said so. Feel very anxious putting the cream on my scalp as it tends to go on my hair quite a bit and need to use it for 7 days. Has anyone
