I’ve had a perianal abscess and fistula for 2 months now. 2 ops - first to put silicone seton in, then second to put silk one in as other came too loose and uncomfortable. Just been back up to surgeons as abscess back as bad as ever.

Been hospitalised three times with acute pain- Had abscess in right side March 2023, then pelvic reoccurring tuboovarian abscess Oct 2023 and now in Oct 2024 ultrasound showing endometri on left ovary.

hi, interested to know if anyone has been told that their cardiomyopathy has been due to tooth abscess’? Or anything to do with teeth? Thanks

She favours an abscess, although nothing showed on the X-ray. She assures me that an abscess can cause referred pain such as I have described. She has prescribed a week of antibiotics and I will see her again in 2.5 weeks. If it is an abscess she is recommending root canal treatment.

Hi all, I've had abscess near uterus and reoccurring pelvic pain for over a year. Past few months , pain will come out of the blue , be very severe, and then disappear after few hours. I'm not sure if it's the same pain I had when abscess was discovered or it's something else.

Hi, I've been recommended vaginal steaming, have cysts on ovaries and atleast one endometria as well as abscess in tubes , has anyone tried vaginal steaming? Any success? Also what kind of herbs etc do I need to include? Thank you , wishing you all ease and health xx

does anyone else have a problem with IBSd flare up which also affects their gums? Sometimes my teeth and gums are a precursor to the D. I mange my diarrhoea with loperamide and a lactose free diet which is mostly good. I don’t think I suffer as severely as some of you do but it is a horrible condition

Sent home with two weeks of doxy and metro tablets from hospital discharge, third time in 18 months, on surgery list for pelvic pain, endometrial cyst, abscess.

I’ve got an abscess skin not tooth and have had for the last 8 weeks. I’m currently on my third set of antibiotics. I am waiting for it to be removed which can only happen when the active infection has gone which I’ve been waiting on for 8 weeks.

I've been recently told I have endotrima cyst , along with others, on left ovary and still have abscess on right. I'm sure I have adhesions affecting bowels and digestive tract from the years of inflammation and infection.

I did have amoxicillin for a tooth abscess but unsure if that could have brought it down. Is very strange 🤔 They are suspecting UC 😔

Now I'm scared the abscess will keep growing inside and I won't know its getting worse . Does anyone have similar experience?

I just had my third Perianal Abscess drained in an operation. I was diagnosed with Crohn's last year. I have fistula's that haven't closed so they put a Seton in during this operation. I'm wondering what suggestions people might have for diet and how to avoid getting another abscess.

Think the abscess might have developed and caused adhesions or scarring, but I'm not sure. Still waiting for next gynaecology appointment.

But he has a fear of injections as many years back he has developed an abscess due to an injection wrongly given. Is orgovyx as effective as the injections in reducing testesterone ? One doctor I asked dismissed orgovyx and said not as effective but online I am reading other things.

Can it trigger the pain to come back or an infection to start if someone has abscess in pelvic area such as fallopian tubes or near ovaries?
