Vaginal steaming and Endo?

Hi, I've been recommended vaginal steaming, have cysts on ovaries and atleast one endometria as well as abscess in tubes , has anyone tried vaginal steaming? Any success? Also what kind of herbs etc do I need to include? Thank you , wishing you all ease and health xx

Hi,Can I ask who gave this recommendation? I didn't think this treatment had any evidence behind it to help unfortunately. It's never been recommended to me, I live in the UK and have accessed the NHS for my treatment.

It's not that I think alternative/ complementary treatments can't play a role in managing symptoms I'm just wary about the use of steam from the research I've done.

Yeah a lot of the time it can cause issues like thrush as well as burns

Sorry should have made clear- it wasn't recommended by a doctor , it was friends who are into herbal medicine and one has had cysts on ovaries and said it helped her
