Norethisterone and mental health
Hi guys, So the surgeon I saw a couple of weeks ago gave me Norethisterone to try before potentially having a hysterectomy, just 5mg to start. The last few days I have been in a HORRID mood. Just really angry and anxious, and today properly shaky and jumpy. Not myself at all, snapping at people and

Hysterectomy
Hi all, So I’ve just had a 6 month dose of zolodex which I hated being on because of the menopausal symptoms (weight gain, hot flushes, head aches). The endo symptoms returned a month after my last injection. I’ve just had my follow up and have been told the next step is a hysterectomy. This obviously

Menopause and depression
I struggle with depression and take Effexor. I had a hysterectomy in March and was given no hormones after and I struggled bad. My family Doc put me on a low dose birth control and it’s been 2 months and I’m still struggling with depression and fatigue and crying. Don’t know what to do. My self esteem

Hello! I am after some advice on my current situation TIA for any replies! I’m 24 years old and have been having problems with my period for 16 years now. I started my periods when I was 8 and they have always been super heavy and very painful. They have been getting progressively worse as I get older

Hrt after hysterectomy leaving ovaries and endometriosis? Combined of just estrogen?
Hi hoping for any advice? My nurse today said I could try hrt patches as I do had hysterectomy with ovaries that are left and playing up. Originally my consultant said I couldn’t have hrt. She has given me combined patches of estrogen and progesterone to hopefully not stimulate endo. she wasn’t sure

&*^% Ovarian Cancer
I genuinely thought I could not possible hate ovarian cancer any more than when I lost my mom just a month ago. Turns out I can because my maternal great aunt just got diagnosed. My mom had no genetic mutations and yet my family has to endure this f*&^*(* disease again. I wish I could just get a hysterectomy

Seeing the specialist
So I'm going to finally see the specialist tomorrow and make the decision of whether I want to have a hysterectomy. I was diagnosed before I was 20. Had a laparoscopy done initially and was ok for a while. I managed to have my son after 3 years of trying with alot of complications. It came back but more

ovarian cancer stage 1c3
Hello, I recently dignossed with stage 1c3 ovarian cancer, doctor said it's not spread much, what they found out that, the cancer tumor was in left ovary, and some cancer cell found in peritoneal fluid. I had done with my first chemo with carboplatin and taxol. My CA125 was 353 prior to hysterectomy

active endo after hysterectomy and ovary removal
So
abdominal
hysterectomy
and ovary removal 9 months ago and just been told that I still have high oestrogen levels with active disease and bowel stuck down. Again. Waiting to be injected into menopause, in the hope of stopping the disease. If it doesnt work, bowel surgery and stoma bag await.

LVA Surgery with Dr. Wei Chen
I have had two LVA (Lymphedema) surgeries with Dr. Wei Chen at the University of Iowa the past year (one 12/21 and one 6/13). He has helped me immensely. The work he has done on me and his findings with others similar to me will be included in a medical journal soon. I am early stages and even diagnostic

Just considering
Hi everyone, my first post! I have read many though over the past few weeks since I joined the group. I have Dystonia, SCLE, Primary Sjogrens and have been through Breast cancer 2009, total hysterectomy 2013. I have recently thought about mobility aids. I have balance issues along with the pain and fatigue
