I would like to thank you all that replied to my question a few days ago. I've ask for a third opinion. That has come back with take it easy if it hurts stop. So I've started today. What a killer w1r1 but I did it so unfit compared to what I was doing before. But gotta start from somewhere I've also joined a all ladies running club zero to 3k but I'll be doing my app between this. So all new to me as I do running on my own or its Billy no mates. Need running buddies but do like running in mornings. So after my hysterectomy 14 weeks post operative I've done my first run. Excuse My face is as pink as my shirt Whoops!

What a heroine! I'm in no position to comment on anything medical, but I would say take your time and listen to your body. I'm in awe of what you're doing. Keep up the good work ❤️

Glad you got out running and I think your opinion is right , any pain just stop. Red face is good it shows you've worked hard. You say your doing c25k and a running club , just make sure you always have a rest day between each run. Good luck 😊😊

Definitely listen to your body and stop if there is any discomfort in your incision area or pelvis. Be prepared for some "swelly belly" as well - I found any early activity did make my belly a little swollen. I started my return to running after my vaginal hysterectomy around the same time as you are now. It was a challenge to begin with, but then I found this programme and it got me back to running. Be kind to your body, take a break if needed and don't push too hard. Your body has been through a lot and is still healing. If it takes more than 9weeks to complete the programme, that is ok. My hysterectomy was the best thing I ever did though and I haven't looked back. It has been 2 years and ran a half marathon this year. It just takes a while to get back to "normal" (whatever that is 😆)

Listen to your body and have fun! Forget the Billy no mates bit and enjoy the time without hassles! Get your tunes on and just enjoy the freedom of being out there solo and doing your body good! 😁 I've only ever run with others twice, once for 2 miles and the other for 8. All the rest of my mileage (currently something like 1300 miles) has all been solo and I love it 👍🏻
