I would like to thank you all that replied to my question a few days ago. I've ask for a third opinion. That has come back with take it easy if it hurts stop. So I've started today. What a killer w1r1 but I did it so unfit compared to what I was doing before. But gotta start from somewhere I've also joined a all ladies running club zero to 3k but I'll be doing my app between this. So all new to me as I do running on my own or its Billy no mates. Need running buddies but do like running in mornings. So after my hysterectomy 14 weeks post operative I've done my first run. Excuse My face is as pink as my shirt Whoops!

Wow well done! you are going great just try and build it up do a mile one week and do more each week. I love running, I am 4 weeks post OP, doctor has said at least 6 to 8 weeks before I can do any excercise 🙌

I walk, run my usual 5k route so unfit as yesterday confirmed this. But every one gotta start from somewhere. I'll get back running that route then back to parkruns. Just love that buzz feeling you get.

Well done, that’s fantastic!

I am rather frustrated as at start of week 13 I started swimming and dancing and was enjoying my newly energetic, period free self until merely a week later my foot slipped off the kerb and I fractured my ankle 😩. Thankfully it’s minor as broken ankles go but 6 weeks later I still have tendon damage and can’t wait until I can exercise properly. I suppose this will force me to ramp things up slowly 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hopefully they might invent a bubble wrap suit. Hopefully it heals well I've had two friends that have done this. And they still have flare ups every now and then. Wishing you a speedy recovery x
