4 month after total hysterectomy, I explained a lot of groin pain, I pushed and saw my surgon several times tried different hrt, but didn't work, progestin helped a lot but pms and pain didn't settle, waiting for a lap next week but in doubt to do it, if they don't find any, I will feel stupid, crazy putting me in this situation, do I have endo left somewhere? weird situation, done two surgeries before in hope of relief, thanks for any reply

Hi don’t feel crazy, it’s better to check that you don’t have anymore endometriosis. We often know when something isn’t right with our own bodies. Hope it goes well for you x

I had mine a year ago. I am sore and bloated and feel awful. I know I have a small cyst with some blood in it.... but not sure that’s the whole story. I’d like a lap to see what’s happening but don’t think they will do it. I’m sorry you’re suffering but hope you get some answers.

Unless complete excision was performed other than just a hysterectomy, endometriosis will still be there and you will still be in pain until you get complete excision.

Please seek experienced help

On waiting list for lap after my total hyst 2 yrs ago. I am also worried it’s going to be a waste of time but there is something going on so I am praying the source of the pain will be found. Good luck

Yes, definitely get experienced help.

See a BSGE Endometriosis Specialist at one of the BSGE centres nearest you

bsge.org.uk/centre/

or Nook Endometriosis specialist (who I’ve had recent surgery with). You can get Surgeon list by following this link:

facebook.com/groups/4181369...

Join ‘Nancy’s Nook Endometriosis Education Group’ to empower yourself with knowledge of Endometriosis.

As it’s a closed group you have to answer 3 security questions and then you have to wait a week before you can comment or like posts. This is so you can read the ‘Basic Introduction to Endometriosis Files’.

This is an Education Group not a Support Group.
