My gynaecologists doesn't know what to do with me lol hes trying his damdest to get me to have my ovaries removed and I refuse I had a hysterectomy aged 32 and after what I was told assumed my pain would go, I was wrong.....I dont bleed like I'm dying anymore but my pains as bad. Apparently it's coming from my ovaries too. I've tried the menopause jab with and without HRT and each time it was horrid. So now hes given me the pill , I cant stop laughing. I took it for years and it never worked. Hes also booked me in for a scan to check for cysts etc and referred me to the pain clinic. He asked if my painkillers work I said barely so shes told me I need to go to my gp, who has already told me they can prescribe anything stronger, but hes adamant I make an appointment and speak to them! Do they even know what they are doing lol he was so arrogant and didnt really listen to me or my hubby . Any way happy Christmas all xxxx

Hi. I had a hysterectomy over two years ago. Ovaries left as too young to have them out at 41! Pain on right side since. Has been suggested that they are now removed but I have not as of yet. I am in waiting list for a lap to see what’s what first. I can’t take strong pain killers as get horrid side effects. Asked for referral to pain clinic but they won’t as on surgery list. Been told it’s all in my head. Def gets you down as U r told hysterectomy is the cure. You pin all your hopes on it and no. Like u say at least the awful flooding has stopped. Not nice knowing it’s something that will never completely go away. Round in circles all the time with no help. Hope things improve for you soon. X

Thanks sweetie. I hope they manage to sort you out soon. I dont see why you cant got the pain clinic! I'd get a refer as soon as you've had your lap! Xxxx
